The Ola House is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains surrounded by lush farmland and rolling hills. Enjoy Southern style charm from your front porch rocking chairs or many surrounding activities. The Ola House is center to an array of many different adventures. Venture out to the private bluff/view and enjoy your morning coffee. The Ola House has two bedrooms, a full bath and a spacious kitchen. There is a sleeper sofa that can sleep 2 people. It’s a nice mix of old and new, the original structure was once a Post Office. It’s charming and cozy approximately 1400 square feet and has everything you need -including a fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. The front porch has two rockers and a bbq grill, there’s also a fire pit where you can enjoy the view of the farmlands that surround the Ola House. Feel free to hike down to the private view and enjoy the fire pit and quiet mountain view that surrounds you. Guests have access to the full driveway, their personal parking spot in front of the cottage. Keyless entry-passcode provided before arrival. Please contact me if you need anything during your stay. I live 15 minutes from The Ola House. Neighborhood is very quiet, my in laws are your closest neighbors. You are surrounded by our family farm. We mainly have cattle and my father in law has horses directly across the road from The Ola House. My in-laws have several large dogs that patrol and guard the area, if you are bringing a pet please let us know in advance. There is a small store, JB Trading Company in Compton Arkansas, just a few miles from the Ola House if you need some quick items. If you need more grocery type items- you will want to head to Harrison, there’s a Walmart and a Harps. Plenty of personal parking space and privacy. It’s just 30 minutes to Branson, Missouri or 10 miles to Historic Downtown Harrison where you can enjoy the Ozarks like a true local with many boutique shops, the historical Lyric Theater, local vendor food trucks and coffee lounges. For the adventure seekers, plan for a day floating the Buffalo River or take a scenic drive just 15 mins to Ponca into the Boxley Valley where you can experience the beautiful mountains and valleys with some of the most breathtaking trails & hikes.
