Set on a quiet street with beautiful views of the slopes, the home offers three king bedrooms, a large bunk room, three full bathrooms, one half bathroom, a private hot tub, a heated two-car garage, and parking for up to five vehicles. Downtown Breckenridge is less than two miles away, but the peaceful neighborhood feels removed from the crowds around the gondola. Intermediate and advanced skiers can access the Burro Trail approximately 500 yards from the home and ski back toward the neighborhood when snow conditions permit. Families, beginners, and guests who prefer an easier route can use the free winter ski shuttle, which picks up near the end of the driveway approximately every 15 minutes. After a day on the mountain, soak in the private hot tub, warm up beside the gas fireplace, challenge the family to shuffleboard, or prepare dinner together in the well-equipped kitchen. The Burro Trail access point is approximately 500 yards from the home. Intermediate and advanced skiers can use this route to reach the mountain and ski back toward the neighborhood when trail coverage and snow conditions permit. The ski route may require walking while carrying equipment and is not recommended for beginners or very young children. Ski access is dependent on weather, snow coverage, trail conditions and resort operations. FREE WINTER SKI SHUTTLE The winter shuttle picks up and drops off near the end of the driveway, making it easy for families and less experienced skiers to reach the lifts without driving or searching for parking. Typical shuttle service includes: • Pickup approximately every 15 minutes • Service generally between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. • Drop-off near Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge • Short walk from the drop-off point to the Quicksilver SuperChair • Convenient access to downtown Breckenridge Winter shuttle service typically operates from November through early April. Dates, hours, frequency, stops and availability are determined by the local transit authority and are subject to change. LIVING AND DINING AREA The main living and dining area is designed to bring everyone together after a day of exploring the mountains. High ceilings and large windows fill the room with natural light, while the gas fireplace creates a warm place to relax on snowy evenings. Watch a movie, follow your favorite team, play games, or settle in with a cup of coffee while enjoying the mountain atmosphere. The large dining table provides space for group meals, games and conversations about the day’s adventures. KITCHEN The kitchen is well equipped for everything from quick breakfasts before first chair to large family dinners after a day on the slopes. PRIVATE HOT TUB The private outdoor hot tub is reserved exclusively for your group and is professionally maintained. It is the perfect place to relax tired legs after skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing or exploring downtown Breckenridge. Hot tub towels are provided. PARKING Parking is available for up to five standard passenger vehicles: • Two vehicles in the heated garage • Three vehicles in the driveway Street parking is not permitted, and improperly parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed. Additional vehicles, oversized vehicles, recreational vehicles and trailers must use an approved public parking area. Nearby options may include the Stephen C. West Ice Arena lot and the Airport Road satellite parking area. Guests are responsible for verifying current parking regulations, availability and fees. The connection is suitable for streaming, multiple devices and remote work, although speeds can vary based on network conditions and mountain weather. Televisions are located in: • Each of the four bedrooms • The main living room • The second-floor lounge area Roku devices and Fubo TV are provided so guests can stream shows, movies and live sporting events. Programming and service availability are subject to the provider. Guests may also sign into their personal streaming accounts. NO AIR CONDITIONING BlueSky Escape does not have air conditioning. Like many mountain homes in Breckenridge, the property relies on cool evening temperatures and natural ventilation. Summer nights are typically much cooler than daytime temperatures. For the best results, open windows after the outdoor temperature cools in the evening and close them during the warmer part of the day. HIGH-ALTITUDE LOCATION Breckenridge is located at a high elevation. Guests who are not accustomed to altitude may experience symptoms such as headache, fatigue, difficulty sleeping or shortness of breath. Drink plenty of water, limit alcohol during the first day, pace yourself and speak with a medical professional before traveling if you have concerns about high-altitude conditions. IMPORTANT SKI-SEASON INFORMATION Mountain weather and road conditions can change quickly. During winter, guests should be prepared for snow and ice. A four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle with appropriate winter tires is strongly recommended. Guests are responsible for monitoring weather forecasts, traction laws and road closures. Ski access, shuttle operations and trail availability are not guaranteed and may be affected by: • Snow coverage • Weather • Trail maintenance • Resort operations • Municipal transit schedules • Seasonal opening and closing dates GUEST ACCESS Guests have private access to the home, garage, decks, hot tub and designated outdoor areas during their reservation. Day Before Checkin: You receive a personalized code for the door. We unfortunately cannot offer early check in until we know the schedule for the week of your arrival. We cannot offer late checkout due to our cleaning team's schedules. Other things to note You really can't beat this location. The house is perfect for large groups and families. You can get to town in under 2 minutes by car, ski in if you're an intermediate skier, and access all the trails right out the door. Each year the town of Breckenridge votes on a Winter Shuttle that runs from the end of December through early April. The dates change each year. The shuttle runs every 15 mins and drops you off near the quicksilver lift.
