Both bedrooms are outfitted with top-notch amenities to provide guests with the most relaxing experience, including luxurious 100% cotton sheets, down-alternative pillows, blackout drapes, and dressers for storing personal items. The first bedroom features a California king bed with a 14” gel memory foam mattress and a wall-mounted 32” TV. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a new hybrid mattress and a 43” wall-mounted TV. If you have additional guests, the living room sofa pulls out into a comfy queen-sized bed. The bathroom was designed with total relaxation in mind. Step into the large walk-in shower and let your worries melt away. We stock this room with luxury Public Goods products and plush towels (including spa towels for the hot tub) - just bring your toothbrush! KITCHENS & LOUNGE The well-stocked kitchen is sure to bring out your inner chef, or, at the very least, allow you to make all your favorite home-cooked meals. You’ll find new appliances and cabinets stocked with pots and pans, basic spices, storage containers, kids’ plasticware, a dog food and water station, a Brita pitcher in the refrigerator, and smaller appliances like a toaster, blender, and waffle maker. The Keurig coffee machine (starter coffee provided) and traditional drip coffee maker is the perfect way to start your morning and you can enjoy your coffee at the dining table or out on the deck. You can enjoy your meals at the wooden dining table (seating for six) as you look out over the backyard or stream your favorite shows on the 65" Smart TV. The lounge is the perfect place to kick your feet up after a meal. In addition to streaming movies on the Smart TV, guests can cozy up with a good book on the oversized chair and ottoman in front of the wood-burning fireplace, so you can warm up your toes after a day on Bear Mountain or Snow Summit. You can also select a board game or puzzle from our collection. If you’re looking for a little more action-packed fun during your stay, you can head into the garage. This area has been converted into a fun game room with a ping pong table and electronic dart board. You’ll also find some snow toys, cornhole boards, and a full-size washer and dryer in the garage. OUTSIDE SPACE This is our favorite part of the home. This area is fenced-in with plenty of grass, so feel free to let the little ones and your furry friends play freely! Enjoy our menagerie of animals as you grill up some dinner on the Weber BBQ, play cornhole or horseshoes, or soak tired muscles in the 5-person hot tub after a long day of outdoor activities. In the evening, gather around the gas fire pit and enjoy making some memories with your family. The flat driveway accommodates 2 vehicles and includes a complimentary 50-amp Level 2 EV charger (Chargepoint). Winter Stress-Free: We arrange snow removal for the driveway and front path when snowfall exceeds 4 inches, ensuring you can get in and out safely. Other things to note WINTER INFO: Snow chains are required for all vehicles in the Winter. On occasion, during extreme weather, Big Bear can experience rolling power/internet outages. Rest assured, they will restore it as quickly as possible. The furnace is in the living room and passes through a vent to the bedrooms. There is a portable heater provided if needed for the bedrooms, but you should get a very comfortable night's rest. AIR CONDITIONING SPLIT- this is a rare find in Big Bear and a welcome addition in the Summer. Please note the bedrooms rely on ceiling fans. The split is only in the living room and kitchen as it cools down greatly at night. DOGS - We feel that our dogs are a part of our family and therefore do not charge an additional pet fee. Please be considerate and upfront if you feel your pet may not be suitable for our cabin. We have nice furnishings and would like to continue providing this level of accommodation for our families and pets alike. We appreciate all of our responsible pet owners. Rest assured, although we are pet-friendly, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness is our priority. Note that the yard is fully fenced but it is backed against the woods. Never leave pets or kids unattended and always walk small animals on a leash when it’s dark. This is the mountains, there is always the possibility of encountering wildlife or insects. Use precautions. On occasion, during extreme weather, Big Bear can experience rolling power/internet outages. Rest assured, they will restore as quickly as possible. The spa and house are sanitized between each guest. If you see anything not up to standard, notify us immediately upon check-in, and we will send someone directly. Please review and agree to the House Rules prior to booking. A signed rental agreement and ID is required. There are 2 motion-activated security cameras on the premises. One is at the exterior front door and the other in the rear, corner of yard with no specific view. Your privacy is greatly respected and valued.
