The space Tucked away on a peaceful back road in the beautiful Gold Star community of Big Bass Lake, this spacious 2,300 sq. ft. A-frame chalet is the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories. Surrounded by woods and filled with natural light from its stunning windows and nine skylights, the home offers both comfort and charm. Fun for Everyone The game room is always a hit—challenge your friends to a game of pool, try your hand at magnetic darts, or enjoy a cozy movie night. We’ve also stocked plenty of board games and puzzles to keep the fun going no matter the weather. Indoor Pool - Down the Street Just a short walk from the Chalet, the Big Bass Lake Rec Center keeps the fun going through fall and winter—toss towels and suits in a tote and spend the afternoon at the full-size indoor pool, with a rec area steps away for easy, no-drive downtime. Rest Easy Each bedroom features comfy mattresses with non-allergen duvets and pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Fresh linens are thoughtfully provided for every guest. Traveling light? No worries—washer, dryer, detergent, and iron are available if you’d like to freshen up during your stay. Cook & Gather The open kitchen is a dream for anyone who loves to cook. With a brand-new refrigerator, dishwasher, full-size oven, and plenty of counter space, you’ll have everything you need to prepare meals and enjoy them together. We’ve stocked plenty of dishware, pots, and glasses for the whole group. Community Amenities (Seasonal) Big Bass Lake offers a variety of community amenities to make your stay even more special: Indoor Pool: Open Labor Day through mid-June _ OPEN NOW - and just a 2-minute walk away! Outdoor Pool, Splash Pad & Lake Swimming: Open mid-June through Labor Day Boat Rentals: Available mid-June through October 15 Outdoor Amenities: Closed during the winter (first snowfall through April) Amenity passes are required for guests ages 7 and up. Prices range from $8–$10 daily per person, or $30–$50 for weekly passes depending on the season. Guest Perks Once you book, you’ll gain access to our private guest website, designed to make your stay effortless. There you’ll find everything you need to know—from navigating the house to discovering local attractions, dining spots, and activities in the area. Outdoor Pleasures: Dining & BBQ: Our outdoor dining area is perfect for springtime cookouts. Fire up the BBQ grill and enjoy a meal surrounded by blooming trees and fresh mountain air. Propane is provided! Outdoor Firepit: As the sun sets, gather around the firepit under charming string lights. Roast marshmallows, share stories, and soak in the peaceful evening atmosphere. Amenity passes are priced as follows for ages seven (7) and above: Daily pass: weekdays $8 per day per person Daily pass: weekend or holiday $10 per day per person Week pass (non-holiday): $30 per week per person Holiday week: $50 per week per person Other things to note Before you arrive For gate security, please send your rental address and the full names of all guests ahead of time. The application fee is included with your rental. As part of the Big Bass Lake Association, you can add community amenities on arrival for an additional fee. Details are on our website and in this listing. Per HOA bylaws, the primary renter must be 25+. Check-in & Check-out Check-in: 4:00 PM Want to arrive early? If housekeeping allows, we offer early check-in at $25/hour. Check-out: 11:00 AM Need extra time? If timing works with cleaning and incoming guests, late check-out is $25/hour. Availability for early/late options depends on our cleaning schedule—we’ll do our best, but it isn’t always possible. Smoking & Pets No smoking anywhere—inside the home or anywhere on the property. No pets, to protect guests with allergies. Wildlife & Community Guidelines You may spot deer, herons, geese, ducks, beavers, bears, and other local critters—enjoy from a distance!
