Child- & Dog-friendly 3-Bedroom Eco-Cabin w/Fully Enclosed Yard & Late Check-Out
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful mountain home with sunset views off the large back deck. A large fenced yard keeps the kids & pets safe. Fully stocked kitchen facing the dining/living space, with wood-burning insert in the fireplace & minisplit A/C for summer! With 1 bed/1 bath on the ground floor & 2 upstairs wings for the master & kids' room, you get a large common space to share & privacy at night! Plenty of entertainment, incl smart TV, books, puzzles, toys & games! RVC-1160 The space The open floor plan allows for everyone to spend time together. Meanwhile, all the bedrooms are in separate wings! There is a bedroom (full-size bed) on the ground floor just off of the living area and right next to the main bathroom/shower. The other two bedrooms are in two separate upstairs wings, the bunk-bedroom off the living area and the master bedroom off the kitchen. The main living area is a single open space that includes the living, dining and kitchen. There are smart TVs in the main living area and in the first-floor bedroom only. As for the kitchen, feel free to use all of the available kitchen tools and appliances, as well as any of the spices, vinegars and oils! Please note that this house is on septic. DO NOT dispose of anything in the kitchen sink. Make sure all food scraps are tossed into the trash. As for trash, there are two big bins outside - 1 for recycling and 1 for all other trash. Please make sure to dump into the trash cans and make sure to CLOSE THE LIDS. Trash is picked up every Saturday. Do not allow any trash to remain outside of the bins (yes, there is plenty of wildlife that will trash the trash!). For those familiar with lighting a fire, there is a wood-burning stove and plenty of wood to keep you warm (it can get to 83 degrees inside!). For those less familiar or who are coming with children, there is central heat and minisplits in both upstairs bedrooms. Honestly, though, the master gets enough heat from the hot air rising up and I usually have to pop a window open. Enjoy the back deck to your delight so long as you do not play any sound amplification devices outside. The grill is available for use (propane only); however NO wood fires or cooking is permitted. Feel free to enjoy as much or as little of the backyard as you'd like. There is a climbing structure the kids can enjoy and all that nature has to offer there. Your furry friends can explore back there as well. Please just note that small animals should always be watched, as hawks and other predatory birds can still access that area. Also, keep an eye on all animals and children, even in the backyard as coyotes and bobcats have been known to jump fences in the Idyllwild-Pine Cove areas (particularly at dawn, dusk and at night). One point of security to disclose, albeit you'll find this information in another part of the listing as well: There is a camera at the front and back entrances to the home. There are also noise monitors as well. If this are triggered, we will immediately communicate with the responsible party. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house except for the basement. We are currently working on a set up that will allow everyone access to the laundry area. Other things to note While it has been mentioned in other places, please note that quit hours are from 10pm to 7am & no sound amplification devices outside. Neighbors have our contact info and will notify us of any sound disturbance. Trash cannot be left outside of the bins. Please only park on the property. Do not park on the street and do not block the neighbor's access to the driveway. Also, please refrain from playing in our neighbors' yards (yes, this has happened before!) The easiest way to know you're on our property in the front yard is to stay on our side of the carport. Another easy way is to just follow the fence line to the street. We also advise against any snow play in the street or toward the street. There is plenty of space in the backyard and if you want to take the play to the front, just make sure any sliding/sledding/etc. is done away from the street. Please note that the thermostat is programmed to certain maximum and minimum temperatures. Propane is very expensive on the hill and we ask that you use the heating system responsibly, especially if you're not using the wood-burning stove (blasting the furnace with windows wide open, etc.)
