La Bourdette

Welcome to La Bourdette! Surrounded by 2 hectares of orchards, meadows and forest, this large family home will welcome you in its spacious rooms, thanks to modern amenities and comfort: quality bedding, kitchenette, 4 showers, 2 fireplaces. You will also have the pleasure of a large 12 m by 6 m swimming pool. 8 minutes from all shops, and located between Toulouse, Albi, Gaillac, the estate also offers the possibilities of varied tourism in the Pays de Cocagne. The space The Bourdette residence, a former winegrower's house, has been tastefully restored, according to the rules of the art. On the ground floor, a large living room with fireplace allows for moments of friendly relaxation, a stereo system for listening to music CDs. A library offers a variety of books, including comic books. The dining room, also decorated with a large fireplace, allows you to have meals indoors if you wish. The kitchen is double: on one side a lab-kitchen allows you to cook with pleasure, thanks to the worktops and semi-professional equipment. A large fridge/freezer and various household appliances are provided. A bar area separates this kitchen from the other. The second kitchen is modern, equipped with a dishwasher and fitted with large cupboards for grocery storage and dishes. The laundry room is a very practical, independent room with double sink, washing machine, clothes rack and additional fridge. A toilet opens onto the large hallway. A wide staircase leads to the 6 bedrooms. They all have storage spaces, and comfortable bedding. 6 spacious bedrooms are available: 5 bedrooms each with 1 double bed (3 in 160 and 2 in 140) and one bedroom with 3 single beds in 90. Possibility of extra beds (in 90) in 2 bedrooms. Bed linen is optional at €20 per double bed, €10 per single bed. Also optional is a set of towels (1 hand towel, 1 bath towel, 1 washcloth) for €10. 4 showers, a bathtub, 5 sinks, 2 toilets, make cohabitation easy. Outside, cars can park in a large courtyard. The different exposures to the sun according to the time of day allow you to choose the place that suits you according to your wishes: sheltered in the shade of fig trees, garden furniture under the hundred-year-old oaks, near the swings, lying in the meadow, lounging in a deckchair by the pool, or on the large terrace... unless a walk in the forest tempts you or a magnificent hike on the nearby Roman road... A ping-pong table is at your disposal. The 12 X 6 salt pool is equipped with a diving board and an automatic roller shutter, and is secure. Several deckchairs are at your disposal. A large clothes rack allows you to dry clothes in the sun outside. Other things to note For those passionate about visiting and history, we are in a region rich in the history of the Cathars, and that of Pastel... The Mediterranean Sea is 180 km away, about 2 hours drive via Carcassonne; and the Atlantic Ocean is 3 hours to Arcachon Bay. For mountain lovers, Ax-les-Thermes is less than two hours by road and Spain (Andorra) is 200 km away.
