Welcome to Quinta da Paciência, an exclusive farmhouse in Sintra, perfect for large families, group stays, and private events—from milestone celebrations to retreats and bespoke gatherings. Base price for more than 16 pax will be charged an extra €50 per person per night. Nestled in the Sintra mountains, Quinta da Paciência offers a rare sense of privacy and tranquility while remaining close to civilization. A range of services can be arranged for your comfort, including catering, housekeeping, and linen changes (available at an additional cost). Groceries and meals can be delivered directly to the property, allowing you to fully relax without needing to leave (Uber Eats operates very efficiently in the area). The house is especially well suited for multi-generational stays, being comfortable for both children and elderly guests. Leisure facilities include a foosball table and table tennis. The spacious garden provides a safe and inspiring environment for children to play, explore, and even enjoy small camping-style adventures. We provide one baby crib and one high chair for families traveling with infants. A highlight of the estate is the elegant glass event pavilion (Glass House) — a fully glazed structure designed for refined private events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, family celebrations, and intimate dinners. Use of this space is available for an additional fee, tailored to each event. Standard Event Fees a) €2,000 – Event exclusively for overnight guests (no external attendees) b) €3,500 – Event for up to 50 people • €40 per additional guest beyond 50, up to a maximum of 90 attendees These fees include: • Exclusive use of the 100 m² glass event pavilion • Tables, chairs, and table linens • Ambient lighting and sound system (speakers; DJ equipment not included) Car Parking just 150 mts from the main gate You are welcome to use the equipment provided, or alternatively source external suppliers if preferred. We can recommend trusted wedding planners and catering partners. Catering services, tableware, and event décor are arranged separately according to your preferences. Simpler or more intimate event solutions can also be discussed and tailored to your needs. A €1,000 security deposit is required for parties and weddings, fully refundable at the end of the stay, subject to standard conditions. No types of events or parties or weddings are allowed, without express authorization from the Landlord, with the payment of additional fees, being variable depending on the number of people in the event. The Piscina space may, on time, be used in a shared manner by the family owner of the house, if there is no inconvenience for the guests, and can be used in case they are outside, for example, being independent accesses (please notify us if they want to guarantee total privacy).
