The River Lea Cottage-on the Magnetawan River

SPECIAL WEEKLY RATES! A lovely cottagey feeling four season home on the picturesque Magnetawan River. It is relaxing, cozy, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The cottage has everything you need! Enjoy the ping pong table in the screened in garage, to overlook the the river! DOCK STOOLS! Makes an awesome swim-up bar! Dogs only-dog run and/or leashed Satellite provider WIFI Rental agreement will be sent The space Summer is great for boating, swimming, fishing, and relaxing! Winters are great for chilling by the wood stove, snowshoeing, ice fishing and sledding. There are many snowmobile trails nearby-District 10 3 bedroom 2 bath open concept on 2 levels. Available- decks, a dock, wading area, and a boat launch. Included for use are 2 canoes, a pedal boat, 2 adult kayaks and a youth kayak. Various sized life jackets available. Please bring properly fitted PFDs for children. DOCK STOOLS for the swim up bar! DO NOT STAND ON OR JUMP OFF! A Ping Pong Table in the garage with a screen to be able to look out at the river and watch the rainfall. The finished Almaguin Highlands (rec) room has a gorgeous river view with walk-out, propane fireplace, a puzzle/card table, a sofa bed, and a projector screen to watch your favourite movies. The middle bedroom has a TV, DVD/VHS player with children's movies and a PS2 with various video games. There are also games, toys and colouring books (crayons, pencil crayons etc.) *Children should wear flotation devices in and around the river at all times Guest access There is a BBQ with propane refillable tank on the deck. The river items-kayaks + a youth kayak (under 100lbs), 2 canoes, and a pedal boat. Paddles, pool noodles and blow up items (in small shed). Life jackets are in the grey shed-put away dry. OFF LIMITS- the big grey shed and the bathroom closet on the bathtub side. Check-out-NOON- list is on the fridge and in the hard copy cottage manual. Other things to note We have installed outdoor security cameras at both entrances. We will not have them armed while people are here only between check-outs and check-ins. Guests must read/understand and abide by the Cottage rules-available on this website and in hard copy-Cottage Manual. This is our family cottage-for respectable guests, looking for a peaceful getaway. A rental agreement must be signed upon booking. Thank you. Internet is not unlmited-please be mindful of usage Fire pit burning is subject to municipal by-laws-please adhere to the signs upon entering Burk's Falls or see City of Burk's Falls website for clarification. NO FIREWORKS! BUY YOUR OWN WOOD. Local roadside sellers, Value mart, Home Hardware, and Petro Canada sells fire wood. DO NOT USE WOOD ON DRIVEWAY SIDE-For wood stove only. The last hill leading to the cottage is quite steep. Dogs only-Lit dog run for evening let-outs, Please clean up after your pet, dog scoops available, no dogs on the furniture, keep leashed, and please vacuum before departing if you have a shedding dog. POWER OUTAGES-ELECTRICITY SERVICE •Occasionally there are outages. The generator runs many items ie: fridge however, some services may be disrupted .
