We'd love to have you enjoy our newer constructed home (completed Feb. 2017) 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom beach home located in the Kiwanda Shores gated community of Pacific City! This new construction home is just a 4 minute walk and two blocks from a long stretch of beautiful sandy beaches ready for exploring! The house sleeps 8 adults comfortably. Main level living includes a large, open floor plan. The living room features a propane fireplace, large sectional and vaulted ceilings, all open to the dining area and kitchen. You will find a cozy and relaxing atmosphere while you watch your favorite show or movie on the 65" curved TV. The master bedroom features a king bed, walk in closet and private en suite bathroom. Additionally you will find two queen bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. On those pleasant summer days, relax on the back deck while dinner is cooking on the oversized stainless steel BBQ. High end finishes include granite counter tops, tile flooring and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs, you'll find an oversized loft room and full size, private bathroom. Loft features a full size bed, twin bed, and queen hide-a-bed sofa with a memory foam mattress. This provides a great space for kids to hang out and watch a movie from our collection or Netflix or play video games on the Xbox 1s or Wii. Additionally, enjoy foosball, a game of pool, or air hockey in the garage. In addition, the garage now boasts a handcrafted arcade for all your classic gaming needs. Beach toys and a few chairs are available for your day trips and bonfires on the beach. We have also provided a BOB jogging stroller for the little ones. You're within a quick walk to the beach, the Pelican Brew Pub, coffee shops, and the Kiwanda Market. We hope you enjoy your stay at Sandpiper Escape! Close to your reservation, you will receive the access codes for the community and access code on the house door. Guests will be alone on the property. We are just a text away to answer any questions, give recommendations, or answer questions our guests have. We are committed to you enjoying your stay at Sandpiper Escape. There is plenty of fun to be found in the surf and sand (surfing, Dory Boat fishing, hang gliding, horse riding, hiking, kayaking, swimming, whale watching, golfing and many more family-friendly activities are nearby). We are only a 15-minute walk to the Pelican Brew Pub, a variety of nearby restaurants, and a local grocery store. The neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a gated community which provides privacy and easy beach access for guests. No cars are allowed on the beach in front of the community - a nice plus! We love to share our home with Airbnb guests! To be sure our property is a good fit for you, please read the following house rules before booking: Rental Agreement for Sandpiper Escape: -Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the maximum occupancy of this home is 8 persons (excluding young children). -The person making the reservation should be present during the stay. -Student-age parties are never allowed. -Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m. -Parking: A maximum of 4 vehicles can be parked at the house and must be parked on the paved driveway or gravel area behind it. Do not park in the sand on the side of the house or in the front yard. Please note that there is no street parking allowed in the Kiwanda Shores neighborhood. -NO smoking indoors. Smoking in home calls for forfeit of damage deposit. -Exceeding stated capacity of house warrants termination of rental agreement. -Be respectful of neighbors surrounding the property. Quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. -No pets Garbage/Recycling: Garbage is picked up very early on Wednesday mornings. Please leave the garbage can inside the wooden box for pick up. The garbage man will take it out and put it back. Although there is no commingled recycling available, the second garbage can in the house is available for you to leave refundable cans and bottles. Check In Procedures: Within 24 hours of your stay (or earlier if needed), you will receive a message that gives you the gate code for the Kiwanda Shores community and your individualized code for the keypad on the front door of the home. Entrance information can be sent earlier if requested. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check Out Procedures: Please remove all fitted sheets, flat sheets, and pillowcases and put them in the laundry room. Start a load of sheets in the washing machine if you are able. All dirty towels should also be put in the laundry room. Start the dishwasher on the “one hour wash” cycle before you leave and take the trash out to the can. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Additional Notes: -The owner will make every effort to ensure that all equipment in the house is in working order. In the event of a breakdown, the Owner will strive to repair or replace the broken item as soon as being notified of the problem. The Owner cannot guarantee that televisions, appliances, games, etc. will not break down during the Renter’s stay and therefore, no refunds or adjustments will be made for mechanical failures. -The Renter agrees not to assign this rental lease to another party, nor to sublet any part of the house, without consent of the Owner. -The Owner is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A shipping and handling fee may apply for return of any forgotten items. -The Renter agrees not to remove linens, dishes, or any other items from the house. -The renter agrees to pay the cost of repairing all damage to the house caused by the Renter or member’s of the Renter’s family or guests, and agrees to leave the house in an orderly, clean, and sanitary condition like that in which the house was rented. If there are any damages to the home during the stay, the renter will be held responsible.
