LOW FORGE COTTAGE

The gite of Forge Basse, located on a magnificent 10 hectares plot facing a beautiful body of water (1 hectare). My place is perfect for couples, solo travelers, and four-legged companions. The space The Forge Basse cottage opens its doors to you and welcomes you to its setting of nature, located in the heart of the Perigord-Limousin Natural Park. Idyllic place for nature and animal lovers (Izio the caretaker of the estate, our Tigrou and blanco duo our two farur cats, Tic and Tac our two pigs Mangalitza and our low courtyard composed of different varieties of chickens as well as our Indian ducks). In a friendly atmosphere, exchanges and sharing, we will be happy to show you around our farm in permaculture. Evening with themes organized during the summer (vegetarian/vegan meal, biodynamic wine tasting, free evening exchange on the basics of permaculture...). The food tasted during these evenings will be of organic origin. We also offer breakfasts by reservation (wellness, or gourmet formula). Private access for fishermen at no extra cost all year. Lending equipment and initiation as needed. Systematic release of caught fish. The gîte comprises of: Ground floor of living room (sofa bed) with fully equipped open kitchen. Floor : one bedroom (bed 200 x 160) with views of the pond, bathroom (bathtub). Dry toilet (coming soon). For young children: supply on request: crib, baby bath, paddling pool. Garden furniture, barbecue, Pets Allowed. Services: Linens provided. Internet connection, TV. Organic welcome pack (maintenance and hygiene products). For the respect of the site, we ask that you do not use others. Other service: cleaning (with surcharge). Supplies: Fresh produce from the estate's organic farm (eggs). Vegetables from Le Potager de la Forge.
