The house is located in the Catskills, Greenville, NY, (Green County). I built my home in 2013 at the end of a private road surrounded by 11 acres. The house is fully furnished with all the amenities. It has a beautiful view of the Catskill mountains from a huge front deck where you can sit and relax, unwind and/or have an outdoor cookout. It is complete with a covered outdoor picnic table and lawn chairs for sunbathing or just simply relaxing. The house was built in 2013 on 11 acres. It's very private and secluded at the end of a private road. The house is fully furnished with all amenities. There is also an outdoor shower and a large sun deck complete with patio furniture and lounge chairs. It has a complete view of the beautiful Catskill Mountains. It is very quiet and serene. You will hear only the sounds of chirping birds and the wind blowing the leaves of the surrounding trees, the rain and whatever other noises you may decide to make. I have 19 chickens that will be happy for you play with. If I am not present at the time you are renting the house, open their door so they can get out and roam around and at dusk close it when they are all inside so they are safe. The house space is 720 square feet with full spacious living room, full kitchen with all kitchen appliances, dining area with 4 chairs, a bedroom with 1 queen size bed. There is a sofa in the Living room that and can sleep one more person. There is a very large outdoor deck for outdoor dining complete with 6 chairs and umbrella. Plus 2 lounge chairs for relaxing or sunbathing. There is a golf course within walking distance to the "Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course". Golfing is open to the public. All other amenities of the resort are for members only. Freehold and Greenville are 5-10 min car drive. In Freehold there is a great bar where you can eat and have some drinks and mingle with the locals. Greenville has a big supermarket "Tops" open 24/7. You will need a car to get to the house and grocery store/restaurants. There is no public transportation. If you have any questions you can contact me at any time. First and most importantly, I would like my guest to walk through the house and make sure everything is working and not broken. This is to protect you, my guest and for me to have a clear understanding that you my current guest didn’t break or damage anything at the house, and if did it’s ok, I just need to know, so I can fix it. Guests will have complete access to the house, sun deck, option of indoor/outdoor showers, outdoor gas grill, and as well walking on 11 beautiful acres surrounding the house. Starting April 2022 I reside at my guest house ( unless I am traveling , ask me if you’d like to know more about my travel plans) while I rent out the main house. Guest house is about 50 feet behind the main house. Also I have two small closets in the bedroom that I use for personal use so they are locked and not available for guests. I have a closet in the common area that guests are welcomed to use and also a drawer chest dresser in the bedroom. I am easily reachable by phone. I also most likely will be staying at my cabin that is on the property. We can meet or not depending of how you would like your stay to be like. You can ask me any questions at any time day or night and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you need any flexibility with check in or check out times feel free to ask. Provided there are no back to back bookings, I may or may not be able to accommodate as I need the housekeeper or myself to prepare the house after each guest. Two great restaurants nearby if looking to go out for great food - "The Mountainview Brasserie" and "The Hollowbrook Inn & Restaurant" - both in Greenville, NY, a 5 min drive. There is a golf course walking distance. Freehold and Greenville Townships are 5-10 min by car. Also, there is a very nice bar/restaurant in Freehold (5 min drive), love their burgers. In Greenville there is Tops Supermarket, Subway sandwiches, liquor store, Dunkin Donuts, as well as Rite Aid and Dollar. You can drive to several hiking trails and beautiful creeks/streams. Greens Lake and a pool are within a short drive to Athens. You will need a car to get to the house. There is no public transportation. You can always walk to the near by golf course as well. Windham ski resort is 25 minutes away. -Fresh sheets and all bedding are provided -Towels are provided -Basic toiletries are also provided (Toilet paper/hand soap/shampoo/soap) -Outdoor Surveillance Camera -Fast Wifi/Internet for streaming movies. -Pets are very welcome so bring your little buddy with you -Non refundable "Pet Fee" per pet - $50 -Non refundable 'Cleaning Fee" - $95 -Bring bottled water for drinking and cooking if you wish, but water doesn't have any odor or taste and it’s good for drinking. -always check yourself for ticks, it’s upstate NY after all. -there is a compost barrel outside at the back side of the house. Please feel free to add to it: no lime and lemon please, everything else is ok. - note that in the winter time it’s preferable to have a 4 wheel drive in case there is some snow on the road.
