The Sherman Lofts are located in the heart of Salida’s historic downtown! You can walk to any shop, any restaurant & straight to the famous Arkansas river from each unit! Depending on your needs, we provide short term & long term accommodations. If Loft B isn’t available, we also have Loft A & Loft C as options! The bedroom offers 14,000’ mountain views & a spectacular view of “S” Mountain from the living room, kitchen & the front balcony! Direct access to downtown is the icing on the cake! Guests can walk just about anywhere in downtown Salida! Being that Salida is a huge biking community, traveling by bike is another great option. If you plan to visit Hwy 50, we recommend doing so by car. We are readily available to offer assistance throughout your stay. The Sherman Lofts are the welcome mat into the historic arts district of Salida. Built in the 1800's, of “Salida Brick”, the lofts have a unique charm that only history can provide. Located above the streets of downtown, the lofts have gorgeous views of the surrounding 14ers & iconic "S" Mountain. The Sherman Lofts have direct access to the best restaurants, shopping, trails, parks, & the famous Arkansas River - you can go anywhere downtown. The Sherman Loft isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience! Anything you want to do is just outside the door of The Sherman Lofts. Guest have direct access to Salida’s historic downtown! Walking or biking is a great way to explore. If you plan to make a trip on Hwy 50, there is a bike lane but we recommend driving by car. The Sherman Loft does not have dedicated parking, however there is plenty of street parking. See the photos for a map of 24hr parking. Public parking is plentiful around The Sherman Lofts. While there is a lot of 2-hour parking, we have a map of extended parking options in the photos!
