The Sunset Beach House is so named due to the beach-theme of the rooms, and our street name, Sunset. We have strived to make this a clean, comfortable, and inviting place to stay with a home-away-from-home atmosphere. It is located in a quiet neighborhood easy access to major thoroughfares and Tri-Cities attractions. The unit is a guest suite in a daylight basement consisting of two private bedrooms and bathroom, a kitchenette, and a large livingroom area with a 60” TV with DirecTV hookups. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and breakfast items (coffee, tea, water, milk, oatmeal, cereal/granola). However, there are no sink or cooking facilities other than the microwave in the kitchenette. You are welcome to relax on the patio and deck common areas which look out on beautiful views of our soothing pond, and adjacent green-space park. Free wi-fi is also provided. Off-street parking is available in the large driveway, with a walkway around to the private outside entrance, equipped with a keyless combination lock. The unit is downstairs in a daylight basement with daylight windows in all rooms, except the bathroom. We are generally home most of the time to greet and welcome guests, and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting and interacting with our guests, but also respect your privacy. The Sunset Beach House is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to major thoroughfares, shopping, and dining. We are adjacent to one of the many city parks, and about 10 minutes from the Columbia River parks, walkways bicycle paths, swimming, boating, boat launches, and other river-front activities. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs, bicycles, etc. are available for rent at local establishments in the vicinity. Public transportation via the Benton-Franklin bus system can get you almost anywhere you would like to go, and a bus stop is nearby.
