Bye Mills Farm is in the Chew Valley. The space This special Bye Mills Shepherd's Hut has luxury and comfort for the discerning couple who care about quality. Sitting in a beautiful riverside wildflower paddock, the hut has an outside bothy with sofa and chair for a unique chill out space, a private hot tub, barbecue and a deck to watch the sunset from. The thoughtfully designed interior is accessorised carefully for quality, comfort and luxury. On of only 2 shepherds huts at Bye Mills on the River Chew we encourage you to take break from everyday life and enjoy being in the moment whilst you take in the unique location, observe our mass of wildlife and enjoy being with each other without the distractions of everyday life. TV and some WiFi available (not in all areas). At night the paddock makes a magical setting to sit with a fire and listen to the nearby weir, stargaze and listen to the owls. By day the beauty of the setting, the birdsong, glimpses of kingfishers and otters make this place magical. If you choose we are 12 miles west of Bath, 5 miles south of Bristol, close to Wells and Cheddar Gorge - all worth exploring. Alternatively just stay local and find out what the Chew Valley has to offer.   Accommodation Features; • The hut has a comfortable king size bed with all seasons duvet, extra blankets for your warmth and comfort. The bed linen is 400thread count Egyptian Cotton • There is a sofa and side table. • Log Burner - please see link to order heat logs • Kitchen equipped with fridge with ice box (no freezer), • Butler sink, small two ring electric hob, combiner's microwave, convection oven with grill). • Ensuite bathroom with shower, thick fluffy towels and bathrobes. • Hot tub with flip flops and spa towels. • Storage places for clothes including 2 cupboard for your clothes and drawers EV charging available only by prior request and charged at a set fee. Bye Mills Farm is no longer a working farm but home to my family of 4. The paddock is at the far side of our large rural garden. We will give you space and privacy and will rarely see each other, there may be walkers along the river footpath but for the most part the hut is private Guest access A car is recommended as there is no easily convenient public transport locally, just a bus from Pensford. We offer on site parking, Other things to note This hut is set up for couples wishing to enjoy some special time together and to explore Bath, Bristol and the neighbouring area. Bye Mills Farm is not suitable for groups and we do not encourage our guests to have day visitors. Wood is not included in the price.
