Our home is family-friendly and embodies the unique vision of Spanish-style architecture that emerged in Palm Springs in the 1970s. 3 bed, 2 bath home with a south-facing backyard & mountain views, a saltwater pool/spa & fire pit. Soaring ceilings and open layout in common areas. Kitchen with 12-foot island and gas range. Tile floors throughout and a mix of vintage and modern furnishings. The space After a brief hiatus, we're excited to share our lovely home with guests like you! We've made a few upgrades, including adding solar panels, a Tesla charger, and complimentary bikes. The tax should be captured in the initial booking. If not, we will collect it in a separate transaction after booking. Airbnb handles the security deposit. Price varies depending on demand—higher rates for holidays and special events like Coachella. Optional pool+spa heating is $79/day. (Pool heating is generally needed ~Oct-May.) The fee to only heat spa is $35/day and is required year-round to use the spa. The cleaning fee is $275 per reservation. Guests also have the option to have our cleaning team come in mid-stay at their convenience to do a mid-week cleaning. We'll do our best to schedule it around our guests while they are out for the day. Typically we need 4-6 hours for a full turnover. Access through the side gate is limited to the gardener, trash collector, and pool maintenance company. Other things to note We are currently scheduling 24 hours between rentals. It's easier for us to turn over the home with a full day between guests. Please reach out with any questions about our cleaning process. Early or late check-in: We are extremely happy to try to offer an early or late check-in at no additional cost if our schedule permits (for example if we don't have back-to-back bookings and can get the house cleaned in time). Please inquire in advance about early check-in or late check-out and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Kid Friendly: We can host up to 2 additional small children in addition to 6 adults/children, bringing the total to 8 people for families with little ones. Our home was specially designed to accommodate young children and is equipped with a travel crib, high chair/booster, stroller, stools, toys, books, pool, and house toys. All beds have a waterproof mattress and pillow covers. The dining table, coffee table, and countertops are child-friendly (no need to worry about spills, scratches, etc). The couch is fully washable. Very few breakable items -- those that are present can easily be moved to higher positions. The yard is fully fenced with a padlock. A child security fence for the pool and spa can be supplied for an extra fee of $175. We need 48 hours in advance to install the fence and the fee will be collected in advance of your stay. Safety: Hard-wired smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Fire extinguisher. First aid kit. We are registered as a vacation rental with the city of Palm Springs.
