Our south facing, sparklingly clean, 1 bdrm lower level apt. is close to Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains: - Non smoking environment (for the whole property) - Private entrance & patio - Bathroom w/spa shower - Free WIFI - Full kitchen w/microwave, toaster oven, 2 induction hot plates, dishwasher, & fridge-NO Range - 50" 4K Smart TV w/YouTube TV - Electric fireplace & comfy dual recliner sofa - Stack washer/dryer - Separate HVAC system & control - Tuft & Needle Mint mattress The space This lower level apartment was set up exclusively for use as an Airbnb. There are several large south-facing windows that let in a ton of natural light. The kitchen is full-sized and ready for you to make any meals you desire. There are two ceiling fans, one in the living space and one in the bedroom. There is plenty of storage space in the pantry closet, main bedroom closet, and laundry closet with a stack washer and dryer for your exclusive use. We have tried to include everything we have loved staying at other Airbnbs and have added some items we felt were missing from other places we stayed in. While we have always done a thorough cleaning between stays as evidenced by our numerous five-star reviews we are now doing an even more thorough cleaning by wiping down all high touch surfaces (light switches, remotes, tables, counters, etc.) with an EPA approved disinfectant to have the place as clean as possible for each guest. There are two adults who live upstairs on the main floor, and the lower level apartment is only under 1/2 of the house. There is a whole house water filtration system for both the shower and sinks. There is a brand new (installed fall of 2022) paver patio and walkway to the unit. It is down a gentle slope. The patio and backyard outside the unit are for guests, so make yourself at home! There is plenty of parking in our pull-through driveway. LIVING ROOM: - Comfy dual recliner couch - Throw blanket - Free wifi - 50" UHD Smart TV with soundbar, a Roku unit with a YouTube TV subscription, and Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu with your account login - Electric fireplace for heat and/or ambiance - 48" X 20" desk with real office chair - Space to hang up coats/jackets KITCHEN: - Keurig coffee maker with a selection of three types of coffee including decaf - Mini moo creamers, sugar, and stevia - Plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs, cutlery, and corkscrew for wine with two wine glasses - A good selection of cooking utensils, knives, etc. - Blender & mixing bowls - Limited spices, plus salt, pepper, and olive oil - Storage containers for leftovers - Full set of pots and pans - Two induction hot plates - Dishwasher for easy cleanup - Toaster oven & microwave - Refrigerator with Brita water pitcher - Pantry closet and many cabinets for additional storage DINING AREA: - Table and two chairs BEDROOM: - Comfy Tuft and Needle Mint mattress - Four pillows plus various throw pillows - Cozy comforter - Blackout drapes - Two luggage racks for suitcases BEDROOM (Main closet): - Extra towels & toilet paper, Hairdryer, and two spare blankets BEDROOM (laundry closet): - Stack washer and dryer - Iron and ironing board - Laundry basket for dirty towels, etc. OUTSIDE PATIO: - 10' X 20' paver patio with two lawn chairs and a small side table Guest access You have the entire lower level all to yourself (over 725 sq ft including a kitchen, dining area, living area, bathroom, and bedroom) via a private entrance with electronic keypad (i.e. no shared space). All photos show the private space that you have available for your exclusive use. You also have full, private, and exclusive use of the patio outside the apartment. Other things to note We have someone with animal allergies, so we are unable to host pets or emotional support animals, or other types of support animals. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Also, we live upstairs and you will hear us moving around at times. We have installed two layers of soundproofing insulation in the ceiling that minimizes the noise. We also do not allow smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises (indoors or outdoors).
