I wanted to create a funky and beautiful space that makes you feel excited about coming back to after your adventures . My most favorite compliment is when my guests tell me how happy they are to come “home”. That’s when I know I accomplished my goal. It’s the perfect location for those wanting to get to the mountains for hiking or head to Seattle for the day. The Snoqualmie Valley is a magical place with rivers and hiking just minutes away. The space The studio ( all open space) has a magical vibe and a bed that allows you to unwind and rest in comfort. The space is eclectically decorated with all the comforts of home. Small kitchen with a great bathroom and a showerhead that will make you purr. Walk out onto a spacious deck in the morning for coffee and a chat with the wildlife and the majestic old cedars on the property while enjoying the beautiful views in all directions. It is amazing that just 20 odd miles from Seattle this little Valley exists. Great for peeps that don’t want to stay at a hotel!!!! The studio is the lower half of my house.. it’s an old school airbnb. I often have business travelers book over and over and they love coming home after a long work day! This is a great place for a base camp to enjoy after adventures. I wouldn’t consider this a retreat type place that you stay at the whole time as it is a working home. Every day house noises are present throughout the day! Guest access Although the studio is part of my house it has a separate entry, its own private deck, and use of the BBQ… it’s an old school charcoal one. Unfortunately, due to the woods, no outside fires! Also due to insurance, the inside fireplace is not usable. I’m happy to share all of the outdoor spaces.. you will see me throughout the day watering… weeding.. painting. I love sharing the beauty of my property! Other things to note Bring bikes and hiking shoes. September and October and even into November are fabulous times to see the Pacific Northwest… it’s my favorite time to hike our magnificent mountains… and we even get some great foliage Also....the space is not set up for infants or toddlers...I cant make exceptions...thanks for understanding. Tons of my guests stay here over other areas that are much more expensive…allowing them more money to play! Many of my guests use my place as the base camp for day trips all over the state. Rates to stay on the Peninsula can hit over three to four hundred a night....so my guests just plan long day trips and get to have a lot of extra money to play. Please know that my actual charge is around 100 to 110 dollars a night. The fees for Airbnb are now part of the whole price.
