Escape to serenity at our beautiful gite - Arranged over 2 floors, 3 bedrooms - Set in pretty gardens,it offers the best of both worlds-the countryside tranquility but minutes from amenities /close to the main attractions eg Rocamadour,Gouffre de Padirac,Sarlat. - Sleeps 6 max incl babes/children - The property is one of 5 houses with access to two pools . - Bedding provided,towels hireable. - Well equipped home from home feel - Sorry no pets The space Whether you are seeking relaxation, adventure or quality time with family and friends our holiday home has everything for a wonderful stay The house known as the Mesange bleue is a pretty semi detached three bedroom property converted from the original farm buildings now over 200 years old. It has retained its beams and honey coloured stone walls throughout but offers the modern comforts of home. The mesange offers accomodation over two floors. Downstairs - an open plan living space with kitchen dining and living areas -two shower/toilet rooms. Kitchen area -equipped with gas cooker/ fridge/dishwasher/ microwave /kettle and coffee maker along with crockery and cooking utensils.A payable washing machine is available communally Living area - two sofas and an armchair - tv available along with dvd . Dining area - oak table and chairs for 6 . Upstairs hosts 3 bedrooms - a double room - a bunk room - a twin room max sleeping capacity is 6 . -all bedrooms have built in wardrobes Bedding provided free of charge Wooden floor boards and wooden staircase Outside The house benefits from two terraces one to the side and one at the front offering alfresco eating whatever the time of day. The terrace has patio dining furniture, parasol, outside lights and a charcoal barbeque. Charcoal not provided Free wifi -Our property offers confort, convenience, freedom, great base for a relaxing retreat be it as a couple, a group of friends or as family / loved ones. -Create a perfect holiday at your pace with the area offering something for everyone and at any budget. Visit the historic towns of Sarlat Rocamadour,Collonges la rouge or Saint Cirq lapopie Marvel at the historical castles and Bastide towns . Explore the caves and grottes in abundance.with Lascaux , the gouffre de padirac For action and adventure the Dordogne river is a five minute drive away for bathing and canooing ,along with local golf courses, horse riding,tree parks ,tennis,cycle paths, parascending,hot air balloon rides,lakes and aquaparks. Feast on the wonderful cuisine and wines of the area or just visit the daily markets and enjoy a wonderful picnic sampling the local products . The choice is endless, your get away starts here! Guest access The entire house is rented to you alone - Each house is self contained - own private entrance and private garden terrace - Individual outside eating ,sitting area with own bbq - no part of the house is shared with anyone else. Shared space Guests have access to all communal areas - 2 and a half acres of gardens to share - communal covered outdoor eating area should guests wish to interract with other holiday makers on site. Pool area - The two pools are for use of all guests on site The pools are set away from the houses .There are sets of loungers spread around the pools ,treated daily and enough space to give families privacy even in a communal area. -The pools are available from 9am to 9pm .Please note and we hope you understand that for the security of our younger guests we ask that all children under 14 are supervised at all times by a someone over the age of 18 in the pool area Other facilities -A payable washing machine is available communally . -Payable tumble dryer available speak to owner for this service. -There are 2 car spaces in the communal parking to the side of the site. Please inform the owner in the event of additional spaces being required. Other things to note -Bedding is provided - Towels may be hired if you so wish at the cost of 7 euros per person per week or 5 euros per person per part week. -Covid 19 all cleaning protocoles are still in force -A damage deposit of £150 or 200€ is required on arrival in cash, This will be returned to you as you check out. -During July and August the property is rented for full weeks only from a Sunday to a Sunday.
