I've seen a huge variety of exotic animals & birds by just sitting on the terrace, such as finches, kingfishers, parrots, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, peacocks, black & brown monkeys, mongooses, porcupines and regal monitor lizards walking across the lawn. At night time the jungle sounds & ambience change...the fruit bats fly silently above whilst the tall mango tree in our garden is visited by hundreds of fireflies.. a truly magical experience! Crack open a coconut (a beer or a pina colada) & lay back in a hammock & experience yet another beautiful sunrise or the 'full moon' rising over the paddy & cinnamon fields whilst listening to the exotic ambience oozing from the jungle.
