Other things to note Phoenix is known for its quality and quantity of restaurants, far too many to list, but here's a few in the area: Melrose Kitchen (on 7th avenue with the best breakfast and lunch you'll find!), Southern Rail (southern comfort food, need some fried green tomatoes because they have them!), Los Dos Molinos (New Mexican flavor and spice) George and Dragon English Pub (for authentic Fish and Chips, traditional Sunday Roast dinner, Texas Hold 'em Tournaments on Tuesday evenings). A short ride-share away you'll find some treasures along Grand Avenue, just west of 7th avenue: Third Space (coffee bar, live music, comedy, excellent drinks, amazing food and great people), El Charro Hipster (always a great time, excellent food and drinks). I would be remiss if I didn't suggest the Barrio Cafe Gran Reserve. Award winning Chef Silvana is brilliant. I'd suggest calling ahead for reservations, you won't be disappointed. The Heard Museum (Native American), Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix Theater, Opera? Jump on the light rail and they're all off of Central Avenue and McDowell Rd. Just for fun, take the Orpheum Theater Ghost tour downtown, also accessible by light rail.
