The space The Guest House (GH) is located 8 km from Chora in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is part of a very carefully renovated and reconstructed 400 years old stone building, which was always a traditional animal powered olive mill that retains all its original equipment. The GH has an independent entrance, heating, good insulation, stone walls, big bathroom with shower, hot water 24 hours a day, fan, refrigerator, and large courtyard with garden. The FREE tour includes presentation of an animal powered olive mill, information about traditional architecture of Cyclades, about olive oil qualities, a relative video viewing, and all these in a pleasant and friendly way. Guest access Free access to the courtyard and garden of the museum is provided. There is free WiFi connection but is accesible outside the GH due to thick stone walls of the building. Other things to note The Guest House is ideal for hiking lovers. The hiking trail (9) pass right outside the Guest House. It was the main road that was connecting North Andros and the port of Gavrio with Chora, before the construction of the Provincial Roadway. The popular beaches Chalkolimionas and Apothekes are 6 km away from Pitrofos. There are two taverns about 2,5 km away. You can order food by phone and they will bring it to you by delivery.
