The space Walk down a private pathway to access your own studio apartment. The square footage is 28 x 10 for main area, 8 x 10 for kitchenette and bath, and 6 x 6 for washer dryer area. Outside of the entrance there is pavers and outdoor furniture. Ample on-street parking is available in front of the house or on a busy weekend night, the street at the back of the property always has space. When you arrive, approach the apartment from the front of our house on Alder Street. You will see the concrete path on the right side. Follow it down the stairs and enter with a keyless push-button secure 24 hr. access code. Transportation from/to Portland International Airport (PDX): Only 20 minute drive. $20 airport pick up service can often be arranged with us provided we're given advance notice. The Neighborhood: Portland's historic Laurelhurst park is just 4 blocks north with bucolic walking trails, tennis, basketball, and horseshoe courts. Stroll around a beautiful duck filled lake with an island in the middle. It's a great place to dog walk and jog. Two blocks away are many great unique restaurants and boutiques. There is a wonderful summer street fair with local vendors, food carts and free live performances. Nearby, located a few more blocks to the south, the trendy Hawthorne and Division neighborhoods are also famous for browsing, eating and shopping. The bus stop to downtown is 3 blocks away. The Hollywood district with Trader Joe's is 2 miles north. Bike PDX: Plot your next adventure checking out the best happy hours, microbrews, and delicacies in our bike-centric town. We have guides-galore for you to use as reference, or simply talk with us and we'd be happy to share our favorite bike routes and eats!
