(Message me for price flexibility) The space The Cottage is a charming, cozy retreat that blends modern farmhouse style with rustic elegance. Crisp white walls, soft gray accents, and authentic barn wood doors create a warm, inviting space that feels both stylish and comfortable. The open-concept floor plan seamlessly connects the kitchen and living area, making it perfect for gathering, entertaining, and staying connected with family and friends. The bright and airy living room features large sliding glass doors that showcase beautiful poolside views, bringing in natural light and creating a relaxing indoor-outdoor vibe. Step outside to your private oasis, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or unwinding by the pool. Whether you're sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying an evening dip, the pool area is designed for ultimate relaxation. It's highly recommended to wear water shoes when swimming, especially kiddos! The pool decking gets hot and the pool plaster can be hard on soft skin. With its thoughtful design, cozy ambiance, and resort-style touches, The Cottage offers a peaceful getaway that’s both functional and unforgettable. Guest access Guest parking is conveniently located on the right side of the carport, just steps from the Cottage. This dedicated space makes arrival and unloading easy, allowing you to settle in quickly and start enjoying your stay right away. Other things to note A quick note before you dive in: 👣 Wear water shoes of you plan to be in the pool, especially kids! The pool decking gets HOT and the pool can be tough on soft feet! 📝 All guests are required to sign a Pool Waiver upon arrival. It’s a standard part of your stay—simple, no surprises. 👫 If you’re planning to have additional visitors who were not included in your original reservation and would like to use the pool, an extra guest fee will apply. Just check in with us ahead of time so we can make arrangements—easy and hassle-free. 🏘️ The Cottage is a private, separate home on the property, though not completely secluded. Our family lives in the nearby main house, and while we’re respectful of your privacy, the carport, backyard, and pool are considered shared outdoor spaces. 👙 For everyone’s comfort, we do require appropriate swimwear at all times in the pool area. No skinny dipping, chunky dunking, or nude late-night swims. Pool hours are 7 a.m.- dark (no later than 10 pm). Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming environment for all guests. 🐝 A friendly Texas heads-up: being in the country means you may occasionally see wasps, bees, or ants—especially during warmer months. We do our best to manage this, but nature is part of the experience out here. 🦨 You may also notice some local wildlife during your stay, such as snakes, skunks, or even coyotes in the distance at night.
