This single-level 1904 Folk Victorian is a favorite of weekenders and families (kids aged 12+). You’ll find convivial spaces, solid wood furniture, and bright common areas with plenty of windows. Stroll to town and two beaches. Or fill your day with plans and change them at a moment’s notice—the central location on the Monterey Peninsula is perfect for all things Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Big Sur. The owner-host inspects the cottage personally prior to every guest. The space Built by William Willis in 1904, this historical home has been remodeled from floor to ceiling. You'll find inviting human-scaled rooms and common areas. The kitchen has a gas range, engineered stone countertops, and a separate dining area. The bedrooms at the rear of the house, away from the street, are quiet and have blackout curtains, comfortable furnishings, and firm, high-end mattresses. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin XL beds (which are the same length as a queen bed). Guest access Park in the private driveway on the side of the house. Enter through the side door by using your keypad access code, provided before check-in (no key is needed). If you arrive after dark, then a motion-sensor light will illuminate the driveway and side door as you pull in. Switches for the house's interior lights are just inside the side door.
