Mid Century Modern Private Guest Suite w/ View

We’re working professionals who rent out a bedroom within our private home. We take great care to provide a clean, safe, and quiet space. We require all guests to respect and follow our house rules. As in any personal home, there might be some light noise. Our home is in Northeast LA near downtown, Pasadena, and Glendale. We're close to the 2, 5, 110, and 134 freeways, which can connect you to anywhere in LA. Fifteen minutes from many USC teaching hospitals. The space Our home has central AC/heat, high-speed internet, and clean, updated rooms. We're located on a wide, hilly street with ample parking in front of our home and no street cleaning schedules, so guests don't have to worry about moving their cars. The guest suite has a comfy queen-sized bed, attached private bathroom, and large closet for storing luggage and personal items. The guest suite has a door to our back patio, where guests are welcome to relax and dine. The bedroom door and patio door have locks inside the guest room. In the kitchen, guests may store their drinks and food in an allotted section of our fridge. We don't allow guests to use the stove or oven in the kitchen (using the coffee maker, blender, microwave or toaster is okay). No exceptions are made for this rule. Our home backs up to a canyon with trails, which offers active guests a place to walk. Guests can also enjoy panoramic views of LA and the Griffith Observatory from our spacious back patio. Anyone visiting us around New Years, July 4th, or in the summer may also experience bright and colorful firework shows from some of our local neighbors. Guest access Guests can park on the street in front of our home. They are welcome to dine at our kitchen counter or dining table on the main, front-door level of our home. Guests are not allowed to visit or hang out in the upper and bottom levels of our home. During your stay We enjoy meeting new guests but also value our privacy. We are content to interact with you as little or as much as you like, and we always do our best to answer any questions that you have about the area and Los Angeles. Other things to note We wake up early in the morning for work and may create some light noise in the kitchen. Guests who expect absolute quiet in the morning may not find our home suitable for their schedule or may want to bring earplugs. We don't accommodate requests for guests to bring their own furniture, including desks, chairs, etc. Out of respect for our own pets, we don't permit other people's pets to stay in our home. We don't allow guests to use our oven appliances or stove for cooking meals. Access in the kitchen is limited to only the microwave, blender, toaster, and fridge. NO smoking is allowed anywhere on OR near our property, including the street. This is a city rule. Guests can be fined for smoking in our neighborhood. We don’t allow unregistered guests/visitors inside our home. Failure to follow the house rules may also result in the loss of your guest booking and guest(s) being removed from the premises without refund.
