Rum Point has a beautiful stretch of beach and faces the North Sound. It has shade, clear waters, exclusive million-dollar homes and some more affordable condos. Nice things to do in the area include biking, jogging, paddleboarding, waterskiing, kayaking, sailing and taking a boat to the Sandbar to see the stingrays. White Sand Water Sports offers a daily sunrise trip to Stingray City Sandbar. The boat leaves from Kaibo's dock at 7am. Your first stop will be at the Sandbar, to feed the stingrays their first meal of the day before the hordes of tour operators arrive. Make sure to book well in advance, as it is incredibly popular. You can also fly fish the mini sandbar on the Eastern side of the lagoon entrance and take a bioluminescence kayak tour with Cayman Kayaks on a moonless night. They offer both kayak tours and trips on their eco-friendly electric boat. Other major attractions are Starfish Point, a beautiful shallow beach where you will find dozens of starfish resting on the sand and Crystal Caves where Expert guides will accompany you through the caves as they share interesting facts about the remarkable formation process that is responsible for creating spectacular stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures, as well as otherworldly formations. A rental car is highly advised as there is limited public transportation or taxi/ride sharing available.
