This is a single family home with beautifully manicured lawn located in one of Windsor's best locations. My home is about 10 mins from BDL airport and 9 miles to downtown Hartford. Easy access to highways I-91 and I-291. St. Francis and Hartford Hospitals are in Hartford and approx 11 miles away. Cigna Insurance is 9 miles away. Restaurants and pizzerias are nearby. There is public transportation but easier to get around if you have your private vehicle. Uber and taxi service are also available. The kitchen was recently updated and boasts granite countertop and stainless steel appliances. The shared bathroom is also updated. My home is very welcoming! The area is very quiet and peaceful yet very convenient to the highway, airport and dining. Bedroom includes queen size bed, desk, mini fridge, small walk-in closet, cable tv with access to NETFLIX, HBO, and fast WiFi. Off street parking is available. For the safety and security of our guests and residents, only registered guests are permitted on the property. No visitors are allowed on the property. Guests have access to swimming pool during the summer. Pool parties are NOT allowed. Due to liability and safety reasons, visitors and friends of guests are not permitted to use the pool. Guess will have access to family and living room. Shared kitchen and bathroom. The private bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, a computer desk and chair, cable tv, air conditioner, also a dorm size refrigerator in the room for your personal use. The room has a small walking closet. Wifi and cable are available. Either myself or my husband will be available to offer help throughout your stay. We respect our guests privacy and will give you the space you need so that you are comfortable. Please let us know if you need anything. Great location and just minutes from the I-91 highway and Bradley's airport. Also, minutes from downtown Hartford and xfinity theater. Very close to Day Hill Rd business district where you'll find Voya Financial, Travelers, The Hartford, Cigna Insurance in Bloomfield, Loomis Chafee School, 24/7 Anytime Fitness gym. The street is a culdesac and very friendly and neighborly. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, CVS, and Price Chopper Supermarket within a mile. There's an Amtrak train station stop which is in the center of town. My property is located exactly in the middle of the culdesac so you would have to walk a little distance to get to public transportation. Uber and taxi services are available. I have an 13 year old grandson and a 5 year old granddaughter who visits me from time to time. There are 2.5 bathrooms in the house. The master bathroom is off limits to guests. The guest bathroom is shared with my adult daughter. My son will stop by sometimes so you’ll see him at times during your stay. Guests also have access to the half bath downstairs. Parking is available for my guests. Your parking space is on the right side of the driveway. There is a winter street parking ban from November 15 to April 15 so you must park on the premises during that time. Guests have access to the shared kitchen and can prepare meals up to 7pm daily. Please provide your own groceries if you decide to use the kitchen to prepare your meals. The thermostat is programmed and set at 68*. Please notify host if you are not comfortable and the host will adjust the temperature settings accordingly. A small space heater is also provided. Guests have access to the swimming pool during the summer months.
