The homes location is close to most everything you'll need, like grocery stores, restaurants & dining, local cinema (8 screens), and more, all within walking distance! The layout is open, flows naturally and provides a sense of relaxed privacy no matter what part of the home you're in! This home is perfect for the group of medium to large looking to travel, stay and adventure together! This home has just the right amenities so that when you get here, you can focus your adventure! ~When guests book the home they are booking the entire home! Included is also the driveway, please leave about 4 feet of room from guests car and the garage door as the shop is used by host daily! There will be red hazard cones to identify how far up guests can park towards to garage door. Host does keep one vehicle, a truck, in the driveway and towards right side of driveway as entering driveway. Please do not block the truck! There should be enough parking for all vehicles. The home sits on good size lot so you get plenty of yard and area to enjoy! As you pull into the driveway, to the right of the shop is an extension to the property lot and this area is not accessible to guests! Please do not park vehicles here! The lot to the right of the shop is where host has set up the RV and stays while the home is booked out. Please know this configuration has been the same since 2017. As the Host I make sure to provide privacy is available by phone, text and Airbnb messaging however primary communication is encouraged through Airbnb messaging. Please make sure to have the app on your phone. Thank you The neighborhood is a mixture of older homes with many that have been renovated, like mine, and have a bit larger lots so the area everywhere is more open feeling. Walking the streets has a bit more adventure to it. The home is within a very friendly family neighborhood and yet if you need to go to your event or planned area, jump in the car and drive a couple blocks and it quickly becomes apparent that if you need something or need to be someplace...you can get there pretty easily from the house, including a few major highways! One of the reasons I live here is location! Your close enough to Portland that even a small and quick journey for that city rush is worthwhile however still tucked back enough that you have a more neighborhood appeal so that you can have the home feel, comfortable and relaxed. Everything you'll need to make meals, get last minute items for plans / events, replacement or new is very local and easy to get to. I've got several on the Guidebook. The home is less than 5 min drive to the farthest wonderful grocery store that sells organic fruits & Vegatables regularly and everything else to an 8 minute walk to another two grocery stores just a few blocks from the house. There are local restaurants and dining available, and I should also need to rent, buy a new or used car, we've got a few of those places close by too. There's even an 8 screen theatre that's pretty cool, shows new movies out with great family pricing, and walking distance! -2 blocks from bus routes. -Easy location to get a cab, Lyft, Uber -Fireplace (Gas) may take up to 1 min to turn on. Please only use the switch market "On". There are no adjustments to be made and no need to open door. Be careful of hot door and please turn off after use. -In the laundry room shelving there will be additional towels that should be used for general cleaning, make-up removal or anything that may be damaging to the very white guest towels. These are clean towels however can be disposed if need be. -Please know that the home has a new 55 gallon water heater and it works wonderfully! But it is a 55 gallon capacity so if multiple showers and other water usage is in process, the water will not remain "Hot" for too long. The water heater does heat quickly so please give it time if this happens. -As you enter my driveway you will notice that there is an empty lot too the right of my home and that is also a part of this property! I live there in my vintage motorhome that is slowly being converted to a tiny house whenever the home is booked.
