Description
The Four Seasons has all the comforts of home with the calm and quiet of the mountains. Enjoy the beautiful sunset views from the wooded deck or in front of the cozy wood stove. We are minutes from hiking the Long Trail, rock climbing the Bolton Dome, skiing Bolton Valley, Stowe Mountain Resort, or Smugglers Notch, swimming in Lake Champlain, or playing golf at the West Bolton Golf Course. We are also less than an hour drive to Burlington, Montpelier, Stowe and the Canadian border. The space The 225 sq foot Four Seasons Tiny House Cabin sits at the top of a hill, among the trees, in 20 wooded acres nestled in the Vermont's Green Mountains. This modern cabin has all you need to disconnect and relax including a full-size memory foam Murphy bed, Vermont Farmhouse dining table, newly tiled shower, fully stocked kitchenette, wood stove, and a cozy, funky loft. The cabin shares the property with our main home, our 2 goats, and 9 chickens. Take a peek into our vibes on the fourseasons_vermont IG page. Guest access The Four Seasons in located about 5 miles down a well-maintained dirt road in a beautiful, sleepy mountain town. Guests will park at the top of our driveway and walk about 25 yards over grass and dirt to reach the steps of the Tiny House Cabin. In the event of winter storms, guests may be required to park at the bottom of our driveway and walk the .2 miles up to the Tiny House Cabin to allow for the snowplow to clear the driveway; a 4-wheel drive vehicle and a pair of winter boots are often helpful. Advance warning will be given. Other things to note As you have noticed, our family and animals live and enjoy our property every day alongside the Four Seasons. That may mean active kids, milling animals, gardening, lawn mowing, shoveling snow, stacking wood, etc. Despite the activity, the cabin is comfortably private, with privacy shades, and sits back in the tree line and you should be minimally affected during your stay. The same reasons you seek out the peace and calm of the Four Seasons may also present some natural challenges. Our dirt road and driveway are unlit and present some hazardous driving conditions in winter months. Though the WiFi is wonderful on most days, storms and other natural occurrences may make them spotty at times. We also share our woods with deer, bear, fox, mice, and other animals you may see or hear. Ticks are also present for most of the year, so please plan your outdoor time accordingly. Finally, we live about two miles from the Camp Ethen Allen Training Site. It is home to the Army Mountain Warfare School and conducts weapon testing which we can, at times, hear depending on the time of year. It is rarely bothersome, but the noise occasionally persists into the later part of the evening. Complimentary use of Snowshoes, sleds & snow tubes available upon request!
