This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). The space Great mountain, valley and farm views without a long mountainous climb. The rooms are spacious and outfitted with all the necessities for a great stay. There is only a few minutes walk to the Tuckaseigee River and great trout fishing! Guest access You will be able to pet our friendly donkeys-- Jenny, Josie and Dominic, and miniature horse, Dandy. The geese and ducks love to be fed at the pond. Children may fish in the pond but need to be accompanied by an adult. Other things to note I try to keep wood there for the fireplace and fire pit. If it has been used up, you may purchase some at the Tuckasegee Trading Co., across from Moody Bridge. There is a refundable pet deposit with the amount depending on the number and size of the pets— minimum is $50. Please let your host know if you are bringing pets.
