Getting into the city is easy by car (including park and ride) or bus, with services running daily and if you wish to be a little more energetic why not try one of the many cycle routes into the city? Just a short drive away is the iconic Castle Howard, home to Brideshead Revisited, Sledmere House Beningborough Hall and the picturesque market towns of Malton and Helmsley, where you can sample some great Yorkshire fayre in one of the many independent cafés and delicatessens.
