City of Berkeley Zoning #: ZCSTR2O18-OO33 The space This studio apartment, nestled in a beautifully maintained 1928 home, is unique because of the natural light it gets and the beautiful view it has of a terraced garden designed by a lifelong volunteer from the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden. Cozy and clean, it makes the perfect writer's den or couple's nest. Small dog and baby friendly (sleeping pad and pack 'n' play available for youngsters). Guest access We allow small dogs, but not cats. You will enjoy a private entrance to the apartment, which includes an airy, clean bedroom/office (including a Queen-sized bed and a large desk workspace), a private bathroom with shower, and your own kitchenette with sink, mini-refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and electric tea kettle. Iron and other amenities available upon request. There is a patio with cafe table and chairs for your exclusive use outside your door. Beverages (tea, coffee, wine, juice, etc.) and gourmet snacks included. Ice available upon request. A fully prepared hot breakfast for two is available for an additional $30 per day. There is unrestricted street parking in our neighborhood. Five minute drive to North Berkeley BART and 1-minute walk to several bus lines, including a bus to San Francisco. Other things to note NO CATS. This is a small, single-room apartment on the first floor of the house where we live. It's totally private, but you may hear us above from time-to-time. Please tell us if you are bringing a pet, we allow small dogs, but cannot accommodate cats due to allergies. Be prepared for stairs! The apartment is up a flight of winding, uneven stairs and down a flagstone garden path. Pathways are lit at night, but our place is not suitable for people with limited mobility or sight.
