Nestled in the heart of the charming West Sussex village of Middleton-on-Sea, Rose Cottage is a true hidden gem. This picture-book cottage is brimming with character and offers the perfect setting for a relaxing countryside escape. Dating back to at least 1606, Rose Cottage is Grade II listed and steeped in history. It was meticulously restored over two years by previous owners, working closely with English Heritage to ensure every detail honoured the cottage's original character. Some of this work is visible through viewing panels in the cottage and it won a Conservation Award in 2008. The cottage can also boast a 4-star rating from the English Quality in Tourism scheme.
