We do have a pet fee but it could be less or more depending on how many pets you want to bring and the amount of time you want to stay. So, pls tell me the details and I will do my best to give you a fair charge. The exterminator comes every 3rd Tuesday of the month so pls let them in or leave the key in the lockbox for them if you will be out. My dad just told me that Golden Valley Cable is no longer offering TV. Right now we have internet, internet TV via ROKU, some DVDs, a few books and games for your pleasure. Currently, we have 3 furnished bedrooms . 2 of them accommodate 2 people. However, we have a 3rd room that has bunk beds. The bottom bunk is a double and the top is a single. Note -The bedroom w the bunk beds doesn't have a closet, however, the master closet is a giant walk-in. We have space in the living room, so if you can bring your own cots, air mattresses or camping mats, the space can accommodate up to 16 people. Just know that the space currently accommodates 6 unless you bring your own "bed", bedding, towels and items you need for people beyond 6. We have stuff in the kitchen for 6 people. If you bring more people, please bring more plates and cutlery. Very inexpensive, but fairly large sunny space. The property is located on Kayenta Drive, Topock Arizona. It is on the West end of the town about 1/4 mile from the Topock Marsh. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home. The master bedroom has and king size bed, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom attached to the bedroom. The other bedroom has a closet that is 2 feet deep and about 6 feet long. The furniture was my grandmother's(so please take care of it), new carpeting was recently installed, and the beds are comfortable. The house is 950 Sq ft. and the lot is over 8000 sq ft. So, plenty of room for boats, cars, jet skis, etc. If you look on goggle(spelled intentionally wrong) earth you can see the property from the birds eye view, it is the property on the Northwest corner of Kayenta and Alturas. Goggle earth shows the house in the wrong location. It's actually across the street from the house on the map. There is a patio that runs along the west side of the house and you can see it in the picture. It runs along the full length of the front of the house. Temperatures are very hot in the summer but quite comfortable in the winter in the seventies and higher. The space has central air/heat and ceiling fans in 2 of the bedrooms. There is also an extra window a/c. About Topock Marsh which is in front of the house. It's not water front. You have to walk there. The 4,000-acre Topock Marsh was created from a historical river meander in 1966 when the South Dike outlet structure was constructed. Presently, the marsh represents over 40% of the remaining backwaters of the Colorado River. The marsh serves as a critical resting place for migratory waterfowl and a home to resident songbirds, waterbirds, and other wildlife. Each year, thousands of visitors launch their boats to explore Topock Marsh. You will find excellent canoeing, fishing, and waterbird watching. We will consider pets, but there is a pet fee. The nearest launch ramp is about 5 miles from the house but it is only a launch ramp, marina, and restaurant. The closest beach is Park Moabi, Pirates Cove in California about 8 miles from the house; it could be a little further. There is also a launch ramp there that one guest told us was better than the Route 66 Marina which is 5 miles away. Park Moabi has some sandy beaches that you can walk to but they are on an inlet off the Colorado River. The nearest shopping is in town, a small store where you can get essentials; they just built a family dollar store in Topock. There are 2 restaurants in Topock plus the marina. There are 2 service stations where you can get fuel and one of them sells liquor. Supermarkets and retail chains are further away in Mohave Valley, Bullhead city or Lake Havasu City. It is about 36 miles to Laughlin but there are Indian casinos closer. I think it is about 222 miles to the Grand Canyon and about 129 to Hoover Dam and Lake Meade, there are tons of natural wonders in Arizona within a few hours drive from Topock.
