Come enjoy the beautiful countryside in the heart of the Bluegrass! We are full time farmers raising beef cattle and grain. Our one bedroom, private apartment, is perfect for everything from a romantic weekend getaway to a relaxing evening after a day at the races or just a family getaway. Located just 30 minutes from Lexington and Georgetown (I-75 & I-64) you will arguably see the most beautiful stretch of roadway in the country on your trip to the farm. The space Enjoy your holiday or family but have a private place to stay through the holiday! We will be open for business for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Built within the last 10 years, our modern, farmhouse apartment is nestled atop a rolling hill located in the heart of The Bluegrass. With a queen bed and a full sofa bed, our studio can accommodate up to 4 people. In the bedroom you will find plenty of storage options and additional linens and blankets. The full bath splits the bedroom and the living space and includes and stand up shower, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and washer/dryer unit. Located in the front of the apartment you will find the living space with the full sofa bed, T.V. and information about the surrounding area. The full kitchen is equipped with the basic cooking necessities and a small dining table. The decor is locally inspired with the shelving made from wood taken from the farm and the local maps on the walls. The space is attached to our garage, however, there are no vehicles used early in the morning or late in the evening hours inside the garage. During daylight hours you may hear farm equipment. Guest access Pool when available. Open until 10:00pm Fishing Pond You can walk around on our 150 acres and enjoy the nature. Backyard playground and farm play area. Fire pit Front porch of main house during daylight hours. Please do not climb/play on farm equipment. Other things to note We do have a dog and three cats on the property. However, they will not be in the apartment at any point. We do not allow guest to bring pets. We have several grandchildren so there is usually someone here for your child or children to interact with to give parents a break. We will be booking for most major holidays, but please note we often host our own family and there may be additional guest on the property.
