Welcome to the Mini Ranch. This private apartment is a cozy space on the ground level of our country home. Although our location makes it feel very rural, we are within walking distance of the charming village of Arroyo Grande. Wineries and beaches and shopping are 10 min away. The space We prefer guests who are quiet, responsible, friendly people. We are LGBTQ friendly, pet friendly, and family friendly. The space you will be renting is a private ground floor apartment. Our location is a great base to explore all the natural beauty on the central coast such as Pismo and Avila Beach. We are accept well behaved doggie guests, and prefer to host children over the age of 6. Guest access This listing is for a private apartment (NOT the entire house) and we are close by if you need us...in fact, we live directly upstairs! We ask guests to observe quiet hours after ten pm and we do the same. The apartment has a large living space, one large separate bedroom, and one bathroom. It is about 600 sq. feet, and will accommodate 4 guests comfortably. There is parking for two cars. Look for the "guest parking" sign by the daisy bush. If you are driving a large vehicle, (RV or horse trailer) there is enough room to park here. Please note: YOU MAY HEAR SOME NOISE FROM UPSTAIRS. You may hear our dogs trotting around, but they do not bark. We observe quiet hours after 10 pm. ONE BEDROOM: Spacious one bedroom with three beds. All three beds are located in the same room: a queen size bed, a full size bed, and a single bed. All three cozy beds have memory foam toppers, cotton sheets and down comforters . There is closet space, a dresser, mirrors, reading lamps, and original artwork. ONE BATHROOM: The bathroom has a large tiled shower with good water pressure. There is no bathtub. LIVING AREA: The living area has a custom made concrete dining table, two comfy couches, (NOT a pull-out sleeper) books, board games, and a large smart TV with Hulu and Netflicks. The rustic concrete floor is heated. There is original artwork displayed throughout the apartment. FYI: some of the art is abstract female nudes. They are unique and tasteful. Kate's mom is the artist. KITCHENETTE: There is NOT A FULL KITCHEN IN THE APARTMENT. There is NO oven, NO stove, and NO pots and pans, so please don't plan on cooking a full meal. However, the "kitchenette" includes: a small sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hot water kettle, a toaster, and a toaster oven. Other things to note It is important to message me with information and details about your KIDS and DOGS before booking. The apartment has a small private outdoor area with seating and a table for outdoor dining. Our house is well insulated, and there is radiant heating under the floors (some people notice the water heater fan when it turns on) . Our electricity is powered by solar panels, and we feed all green waste to the chickens, so you can feel very "Eco-Friendly" during your stay with us. We are ANIMAL LOVERS and have two ranch dogs. You are welcome to meet our dogs in the garden. We call this our "ranch" because in addition to the dogs, we have a sweet donkey, 4 goats, and a 5 chickens. Norman, the white donkey is adorable, super friendly and cuddly, and can make some very silly sounds when he is happy to see you. He loves people and healthy treats. Yes, our home is PET FRIENDLY! If you are traveling with your well trained, friendly dog, we welcome them. I would like to know a few details about your dog before booking. (such as size, breed, sex, age) There are many dog friendly beaches, hikes and restaurants in our area and we can direct you to all of those. Dogs may NOT be left in the apartment when you go out. This is also a HORSE HOTEL!! I have room for horse guests. If you are interested in bringing your horse along please let me know and we can discuss more horse boarding details.
