Other things to note General: No shoes in the house- we have white floors and would appreciate the help keeping them white. There are 4 heat zones in the house they are all set to 55 when no one is at the house. The house stays quite warm at 70 when you are staying in the house but please turn all 4 heat zones back down to 55 before leaving. Located in kitchen, den master bedroom and room with crib. We keep the boiler room door open. There is so much warm air in there! The water heater is also turned off when you arrive. It’s located in the boiler room and it’s the red switch panel. Please kindly turn it off when you leave. Kitchen: The kitchen island lights are located on the ceiling. It’s a switch near the back windows in the kitchen. It’s an old house and switching electricity was not easy. The bottom drawer on the kitchen island is a slow pull open and you must use both handles to open. The dishwasher is missing a wheel so you need to be careful when pulling the below basket out. Do not put the steak knives in the dishwasher 0utside: We shoveled the rustic walkway but please be careful on the porch as it does ice over easily. There is ice melter on the porch if needed. Parking- please pull into the driveway Infront of the barn. If you park closer to the house porch please be aware that our neighbors have a driveway located across the way and do not block them in. The downstairs bathroom door is not easy to open. You do not have to turn the knob just lock it. Garbage- there is one trash receptacle located near the barn. Please throw all bagged garbage inside the can. garbage pick up is Tuesday.
