I will provide entry codes to the entry keypad prior to your stay, to access the property. ALL ABOUT OLD FORGE: Enjoy the Fulton Chain of Lakes only a few blocks from our home in Old Forge. Two Minutes to downtown Old Forge which offers over 20 shops and stores. Many great restaurants and recreation for the family. Take a ride on the Adirondack scenic railroad for pristine mountain views of untouched nature. Take a stroll through town where Ice cream shops line the streets. Take the kids (big or small) to Calypsos Cove where you can ride bumper boats, go-carts and play in their large arcade. We are also right next to the Big Moose & there is a spot to launch your Kayak/Canoe right here! FOR OUR WINTER GUESTS: We offer the best snowmobile trail access with the best location in the Old Forge Area. Snowmobile from our front door to hundreds of miles of beautifully groomed trails. Multiple access points means trails are at your fingertips all season long. If skiing (downhill or cross country) is your thing then take a trip to McCauley Mountain located 5 minutes from our house. Want bigger mountain skiing? We are only 45 minutes from Gore Mountain. While you can walk to town in about 15 minutes from our place, parking is plentiful in town. You can find parking on the street as well as multiple public lots right near the Old Forge Pond Lakefront. You must take care of your own trash, which must be bagged in clear plastic bags. Trash can be taken to the Town of Webb Transfer Station near McCauley Mountain. Trash cannot be left out overnight - there are bears in the area!!!! Maps Address = 152 MCCAULEY MOUNTAIN RD Open hours are 8am-Noon. Additional fee ( $ 100 per bag) to be deducted from security for trash left on premises. Please turn off all lights and fans. The best rule of thumb is that the cabin should generally be left in the condition that you found it. Guest are kindly asked to unload dishwasher and return utensils to cabinets after use.
