Solar Powered Brownstone w/ treetop terrace

Welcome to Bed-Stuy! Your group will love staying in our newly renovated brownstone. Our neighborhood is very charming and you’ll find everything you need within a couple blocks. Tompkins avenue is filled with coffee shops, restaurants and cool boutiques, wine stores… it’s all here. From the house you can walk to the C subway at Fulton and Throop in under 10 minutes, or to the A train at Fulton and Nostrand which will get you to Manhattan in 4 stops. The space We are a husband and wife creative team – an artist and an architect- so the house is filled with thoughtful details, original art, and stylish modern furniture that inspires us. It's designed to be the perfect Brooklyn pied-a-terre for families. The 2nd floor has a new kitchen, eat-in counter with two stools, and a combination lounge-dining space. There are two bedrooms on this floor, both with Queen beds, and there is a bathroom with a shower on this floor. When you go up stairs to your top floor there are three more bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, and there is a second bathroom on this floor with a shower/ bathtub. So: total two bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a shower. On the top floor there is a balcony terrace (not pictured) with an outdoor dining table. It looks out over the garden - a great spot for a group dinner. Guest access You will have your own apartment in the building: your own entrance, guest spaces, living room, bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms to yourself, and your own locking door to the apartment. The doors to your unit are all on a keyless entry and you will be given a unique access code for your group. No need to keep track of keys. Other things to note It's a residential neighborhood and there are a few small but excellent grocery stores in the area. We recommend to pick up what you need on Tompkins. If you want to explore and find specialty food shops, let us know a little about what kind of foods you're looking for we can tell you the best spot to get them. There is a fridge and freezer. We always stock the fridge for your arrival with milk and eggs, and we fill the pantry with tea and coffee and sugar, salt and pepper and some basics like cooking oil. There's also a Nespresso machine and the capsules to go with it.
