Cabin in Lyon Mountain

This L-shape cabin, with 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, sits directly in front of the deepest part of the 9-mile Upper & Lower Chateaugay Lakes with 106’ direct lakefront and many outdoor features to keep you amazed at Mother Nature while playing in the sun and the water. Located as the second to last house on a dead-end street, the Anchor, has been meticulously maintained and enhanced in the past 19 years, including a U-shaped dock, a new 32’ dock, a floating dock, lean-to, plus a patio and 2 decks. The space The best cabin directly on the lake!!! Peak season requires 7-night minimum stay starting and ending on a Saturday. Peak season runs from mid-June to the last week of August. All other dates require a 3-night minimum stay. The cabin is about 1100 ft.² and directly faces the lake. The nearby outbuilding, named the Shotgun Shack, has a twin-over queen bunkbed plus a kitchenette and full bathroom. Arguably the best bedroom for teenagers and those who want to stay up late. As you enter from the U-turn driveway, you will pass the Shotgun Shack (extra outbuilding) and enter the main cabin through the kitchen, which leads to the dining nook and living room. On the other wing, there is a washer and dryer, a Douglas fir bedroom with built-in full-size bed, and a mahogany bedroom with a king size bed made of local logs. The entire beauty of the house comes together on the opposite side, the lake side, from the stone patio overlooking the water with 106 feet of direct waterfront. To get to the waterfront, you can walk down the 12-foot-wide staircase and then eventually to the U-turn shape dock, or you can follow the new rock wall down past a floating deck, and to the U-turn shape party deck sitting on top of the water. You can also relax on the hammock or go to the hand-built log lean-to, which sits directly in front of the brand new 32-foot-long by 6-foot-wide dock. This place is well-maintained and provide serenity in every direction. Comes with 2 stand-up boards, one 3-person canoe, one 2-person kayak, and 2 single-person kayaks + paddles and life jackets. NOTE: The seasonal outbuilding (Shotgun Shack) with twin-over-queen bunk bed, mini-kitchen and bathroom, is not open October - April. The main house is open and can accommodate 4 people. During the peak season, 2 other guests can enjoy the Shotgun Shack. Guest access The entire house and outbuildings are included except for the garage and crawlspace. All of the water toys have been moved to a new outdoor closet for easy access. Other things to note NO ADDED FEES = All inclusive, including sheets and bath towels. Also, I have owned the cabin for 20 years and I have meticulously maintained and improved it every year. It is a piece of paradise. If you were looking to appreciate the outdoors while being pampered by the indoors & many outdoor amenities, then this is the place for you.
