There are also sea angling opportunities within 220 yards. Other activities locally include walking, rambling, bird and wildlife watching, and photography. A local ferry leaves every hour, only 330 yards away, and for very little money takes you to the delightful island of Kerrera. A café, castle and great walks are just minutes’ away, as well as an Iron Age fort and drovers path, which leads from the accommodation to Oban. A ferry from Oban (CalMac) takes car and foot passengers to Mull, making a great day out (book early) seeing Iona, Staffa and Tobermory. Beach 4¼ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
