We are adjacent to Point Reyes National Preserve and Seashore, on top of Paradise Ridge, with views of the ocean, farallon islands and treetops from every direction. The estate is a permaculture paradise, with abundant vegetable gardens, dozens of fruits trees, guinea fowl, honeybee hives, a koi pond and cozy hammocks.. Guests are welcome to try all of the seasonal greens, herbs, berries, and fruits growing in the inner garden. The 8000 sq ft home has four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, chef's kitchen, a large entertainment room, a large billards room with deluxe massage chair, two decks and large balcony, basketball court, spectacular playground, and acres of beautiful terraced gardens overlooking the ocean. The rental includes full access to the grounds of the estate, the inner garden which has fruit trees, raised beds for vegetables, 3 hammocks, swing bench, table and chairs, outside grill, and also the extensive terraced outer garden with more fruit trees and flowers and seating nooks. It also includes the view patio- the other side of the estate- with lounge chairs, table, and a fire pit. The property has panoramic views of Point Reyes National Preserve and Seashore. This listing is for the entire home. The ground, gardens and property are yours during your stay. We will greet you and give you a tour upon your arrival and will be available by text during your stay. We are very happy to interact with guests but will also respect your privacy- we will take your lead! If we are here we will reside on the far side of the property across from the garden. Our dog Genghis and two cats Zorro and Nikko will roam everywhere on the property. Our neighborhood is the Point Reyes National Seashore and Wilderness Reserve, with hiking trails right outside the property. We are 10 minutes from town and wonderful restaurants, and a 10-15 minute drive to the pristine beaches. Please ensure your entire group is aware of our non-smoking policy. We are often told that our pictures do not capture the beauty of this property. Our pets have had occasional access to the ground floor. Although the housekeeper ensures these spaces are sparkling clean, people with pet allergies may be sensitive in the ground floor lounge area and billiards room. Laundry services are included by request for stays of 3 or more nights. We do not provide a washer/ dryer.
