Oceanaire - Large Ocean View Studio on Boardwalk!

The space Oceanaire @ Ocean Beach Club offers some of the most upscale accommodations and an array of amenities, located just steps from the sand in Virginia Beach. Unwind at one of the 2 oceanfront pools, an adults-only infinity pool with bar service and an indoor pool with water features. Additional amenities include a 10th floor lounge and sundeck overlooking the ocean, a 17th floor ocean view fitness center, a game room and daily planned activities. Enjoy a specialty cocktail at Ultra Craft Cocktails Lounge, or dine poolside for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Tortugas Café & Tiki Bar, open seasonally. This is a Studio unit with Ocean View Balcony that sleeps four (4) people. 2 Double Beds, Table with 2 chairs, Kitchenette, 32" cable TV, and bathroom. The Kitchenette has a Sink, Microwave, smaller Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, etc, but there is no stove or oven. Glasses, plates, and utensils are also provided. This unit is approx. 345sq ft. The location of Oceanaire @ Ocean Beach Club is on the north end of the boardwalk, and near many of the better restaurants and outdoor lounging areas. You can walk or ride your bike on the 3 mile boardwalk. The Ocean Breeze Water Park is only 10 minutes away. Or this offers a convenient location from which to schedule day trips to tour nearby Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, or Busch Gardens / Water Country. Guest access Your unit is private, but since this is a Resort Hotel property, amenities will be shared with other Guests (Pools, Hot Tub, Roof Deck, Fire Pit, Gym, etc) Other things to note - Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room. - The Ocean Beach Club / Oceanaire complex is professionally managed and operated by Diamond Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay. - This is a FLOATING unit type. What that means is that you are guaranteed an OCEAN VIEW Studio as depicted in the photos, but your unit location (high or low floor, North or South side of building, towards front or back of building, etc) will be determined at Check In. You may also call the Front Desk ahead of time about 7-10 days before Check-In and request a certain unit location. Although you can never be guaranteed a specific location the Front Desk will usually try to accommodate requests if they can. - One Free parking pass is included with this unit, but the Ocean Beach Club / Oceanaire complex does not have direct onsite parking. There is a Parking Garage across the street where you will park and be given a parking key card to use during your stay. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee. - Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket. - Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent them on the beach out in front of the facility. - Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. There are also grocery / department stores conveniently located within a few minutes from the facility if you want to shop for any groceries or personal items you want during your stay. - There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, the Front Desk can provide a vacuum, or broom and dustpan, to use in your unit if you wanted it. Washers and Dryers are also available (at no additional charge) on alternating floors for guests to use if desired. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the Front Desk. - For trash disposal during your stay, there are utility rooms with trash chutes located on every floor. Just open the door and drop your trash bag down the chute. If you need more trash bags you can request those as well from the Front Desk. - Ice machines are available on every other floor - If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Virginia Beach was designed with a special bike path along the Boardwalk to cater to bike riders. It's possible to use bikes as your main means of transportation during the week to travel up and down the Boardwalk, and around town. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes at the bike rack each night. - There is a Virginia Beach Coupon booklet available pretty much everywhere in vending type machines along Atlantic Ave, including the Front Desk / Lobby at pretty much all the properties in VB. In this booklet you can find some coupons that offer decent discounts on food, entertainment, and equipment purchases (like bike rentals if you are not able to bring your own). - Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in (the resort's Front Desk will also ask for this information when you check in, but obtaining this information beforehand will expedite the check in process) along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation. - This is a timeshare resort but attending a presentation or taking a tour is NEVER required. ADDITIONAL 2021 COVID-19 STIPULATIONS: - Due to the unique circumstances this year the unit is significantly discounted - If the resort was closed, meaning unit is not available for occupancy, Renter would receive a 100% refund of any payments made, no questions asked. - Although it is highly doubtful at this time the resort would be closed there is no guarantee that every single dining / entertainment option in Virginia Beach and / or surrounding areas would be available and operating like normal due to any social distancing guidelines that may be (or may not be) put in place. Owner is not responsible for the fact that we don't know yet what we don't know in relation to this. - It should be noted that the same would be true everywhere on the East Coast this summer (not just Virginia Beach). However Owner has provided a discounted nightly rate to compensate the Renter in advance for any potential impacts of this.
