Starfish Cottage is a dog friendly cottage. Please bring your dogs bedding and favorite toy with you, it is appreciated that you do not allow your dogs on the furniture and bedding. With all the comforts of home, Starfish Cottage is the perfect retreat for your next beach adventure. Guest access This private cottage is yours to explore. Parking for two cars is at the back of the home off Vine Maple lane. Entry to the home with the code is from the BBQ deck. Inside, there are a couple of owner’s closets that will be locked, however, the cottage, designed with vacation use in mind, sports ample additional closets and storage areas for your use. We do ask that our guests remove their outdoor shoes in the home to protect the floors and limit dust and allergens. Oyhut Bay Seaside Village is built on the edge of the Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area. Often called the “natural side” of Ocean Shores, this area offers miles of sea level hiking. Bring your camera for some wonderful nature photography. The nearby north jetty has spectacular waves to enjoy from afar - especially at high tide or on a stormy day. Just across Marine View Drive, Oyhut Bay provides access to 26 miles of canals for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Even on the rainiest of beach days, there is something for everyone at Oyhut Bay. Enjoy a relaxing fire in the fireplace and a good book. There are no bad days at the beach.
