Fern is a stone cottage at Moor and Sea Holidays set on Exmoor near Lynmouth. Beautiful relaxing accommodation, with picture window views over Exmoor. Set in lovely gardens with its own terrace perfect for alfresco dining and fire pit. Fern has it's own Swedish wood fired hot tub with stunning views, perfect for unwinding . Within easy reach of spectacular coastline, award-winning beaches and moor and coastal walks, the perfect base from which to explore this wonderful part of the world. The space Moor and Sea Holidays. Self Catering Cottages Fern ( number 7 on the plan), south facing, with far reaching views over Exmoor and a swedish wood fired hot tub. Beautifully refurbished to suit families, couples, or holidays with friends. Fern has a spacious open-plan living area with French doors opening onto the private dining terrace and more informal seating areas. The lovely south-facing terrace has views over the gardens and moor, morning coffee as the sun rises, and star gazing by your own fire bowl as the night draws in. Fern has it's own Swedish wood fired hot tub. The open plan design incorporates a sociable sitting and dining room with a cosy side snug for quiet moments, both with beautiful south-facing views. There is a light and airy fully equipped kitchen to the rear with a full-sized fridge freezer, slimline dishwasher, and a washer dryer. Fern has three tranquil bedrooms, two doubles, and one twin. There is also a double sofa bed to be found in the living room allowing up to 8 people to stay, all of our bedding is soft french linen or high quality cotton. One lovely bathroom with a shower over and one shower room, complete the cottage. We have super fast fibre optic broadband throughout all of our accommodation. The newly landscaped gardens have been designed and planted to encourage wildlife, including wildflower meadow planting and fruit trees for the bees and birds. As well as each cottage having its own south-facing private terrace, there are lovely gardens and 11 acres of beautiful fields for our guests to use at Moor and Sea. Throughout our build, we have been mindful of using environmentally friendly materials and design. From natural or recycled insulation and building materials, eco-friendly cleaning products, and consumables to solar panels and new energy-efficient appliances throughout. We have two Rolec EV charging points that can be used with the Monta app. This is easily downloadable onto your phone. There is a utility room for our guests with a lending library of books and indoor and outdoor games. We also have a light and airy art room for our guests to enjoy. (sometimes not available during the winter months due to residential art courses running please ask on booking ) Fern is a wonderful place for you to recharge and enjoy the wonderful North Devon coast and Exmoor and all they have to offer, from award-winning beaches to stunning coastland and moorland walks and so much more. We are on hand with local information and recommendations to help you make the most of your time here. Guest access As well as each cottage having its own private terrace, guests have access to the gardens at Moor and Sea Holidays and our two fields. There is also a utility room and an art room. The art room may not be available some weekends from the end of September to may when our residential art courses are running, please ask for details. Other things to note Our cottages are all easily accessible. Please note that if six people or less are staying and you wish to use the sofa bed and bedding there is an extra charge of £25 per stay, please contact us to let us know so we can prepare for you, this can be paid for directly during your stay. We automatically charge extra for 7 or 8 people staying. We have a guest laundry room with a lending library of books and indoor and outdoor games. There is an art room freely available for the use of our guests from May until September. From September until May, it is open most of the time subject to availability. We have 2 EV chargers There are indoor and outdoor games to borrow and two lovely fields in which to play or walk with a large fire pit for our guests to use on request. The fields are also perfect for a picnic or early morning yoga.
