Lake Hartwell is very close and has become a popular fishing destination for many anglers since Bass Masters began hosting tournaments here. Numerous interesting historical sites are located in Anderson County and the counties immediately surrounding. Apple picking in the fall, water fall hiking year round and festivals of all kinds lure people into the mountains just an hour’s drive away. The airbnb itself is nestled into a quiet, shady, wooded lot frequented by deer and other wildlife. While Anderson has a number of unique restaurants, there is ample space and equipment to prepare your own meals in the full kitchen. This apartment is attached to a garage that is separate from the main house on the property. You have a private entrance and convenient parking. Managers of this airbnb live next door and are usually available during your stay. Historic downtown Anderson features numerous unique restaurants, coffee shops and shopping opportunities, and depending on the season there are free theatrical performances and a splash pad at Wren Park. As you head north you can explore many beautiful waterfalls and other mountain venues within an hour’s drive. Less than a mile from this airbnb is a popular bike/hike trail. SC Botanical Gardens and Clemson University are an easy 25 minute drive. Downtown Anderson venues are easy walking from your initial park. Bus transportation is available throughout the city and the Clemson Area Transit (CAT) has local stops that will take you north toward Clemson University. Uber and Lyft are also available. NO ANIMALS ALLOWED! Access is by keyless entry. Code is given when reservation is confirmed. Our place is ample for a family of four but we do not consider it suitable for multiple unrelated adults. We prefer couples to be married. To our angler friends: As much as we would love to host you and get to chat with you, our driveway and parking are not adequate for truck and boat trailer.
