Once a church, our log lodge is perched on a knoll overlooking the ocean. Constructed entirely of cedar, the Great Room (once the worship room) of this magnificent building has vaulted 14” cedar ceilings. Indigenous art hangs on our walls, and books of many variations grace our library. The lodge is the perfect place to take in the ocean, inhale the cedar aroma and loose yourself in the serene vibe of this place. The space Overlooking Johnstone Strait, the property occupies one acre on the south shore of Cormorant Island. The 3000 sq ft lodge has three wings: one each for two rooms and one for the Great Room. Room 1 features one queen bed, a full bathroom with a soaker/shower tub, a closet, a desk and a mini fridge. Guest access In addition to our private rooms, all guests have access to the 1600 sq ft Great Room with its four conversation nooks. Here, one can peruse the library, enjoy the TV, cozy up by the fire and connect with fellow travelers. Breakfast and dinner is served in our dining room with panoramic views of Johnstone Strait. During your stay Our resident managers provide great local knowledge and fantastic meals. You'll have your choice of four included breakfast items which include coffee, tea and hot chocolate - please select your breakfast for the next morning when you arrive. Other things to note Our included breakfast menu offers four choices: 1. Traditional cooked breakfast - 2 eggs any style with bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast 2. Cheese omelet - 2 eggs with aged cheddar cheese and hash browns, toast and jam. 3. Steel cut oats with cinnamon, nuts, fruit and toast 4. Pancakes with fruit and maple syrup All served with your choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate Coffee is available in the Great Room at 7:00 am as are the fixings for tea.
