It's difficult not to be swept away by the panoramic view of the lake. The main/upper level of our custom-built cottage on the lake boasts 3-bedrooms and 2.5 baths with all the comforts of your home. Make special moments for a family reunion, hosting an event or a weekend getaway with your loved ones! Note: This cottage also has a lower level that has 2 BR, 1 bath (with separate entrance) The nightly fee includes tax. This main/upper level of our PET-FREE and SMOKE-FREE cottage: - has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths - sleeps up to 8 guests. Main level: - 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds, 1 bunk bed with a double on the bottom, single on the top and a trundle) - 3 washrooms (4-piece with a soaker tub, 3-piece and a powder room) - a living room - fully equipped kitchen - laundry - screened-in room, - 2 patios - gym (garage) The lake: Fishing: There's no fish on our lake Swimming: Swim from the second dock to avoid the muddy lake bottom. Water shoes are highly recommended. The lake gets deeper from the end of the first dock gradually to about 20 ft. Use swim vests for safety; no diving from the docks. Water toys: We provide kayaks, canoes, and a pedal boat. More amenities listed below. Guest access * Access - Guests have NO access to 1) Garage (except the gym equipment and bikes), 2) cold room (lower level), and 3) owners' storage room (upper level-beside Master bedroom). * Gym use - with conditions. Please read the house rules. * Other amenities in the property: - kayaks, canoes, pedal boat, swim vests - bikes - piano - basketball - trampoline for kids - board games - pool table (garage) - ping pong table (garage) - kids' swing set in the backyard - kids' trampoline (weight limit-90 kg at a time) + younger kids' trampoline in the garage - Patio swing with canopy - 2 fire pits + firewood - BBQ + propane gas - pergola near the lake - extra patio chairs for large group - a big yard for kids to play around - screened-in room (not winterized) - mini-library for adults and children - reading lounge - sleeping spaces: 2 queen beds, 1 bunk with a trundle (two single and a double), 2 futon beds - Washrooms with clawfoot tub, standing jetted showers with seats - Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave oven, cooking oven, popcorn maker, blender, bread toaster, kettle, water filter, slow cooker, all kitchen utensils not limited to pots and pans. - Parking spaces for trailers (let us know how big they are if you bring them) Other things to note ***All guests MUST follow the House Rules for a safe and comfortable stay. *** What to bring: - Beddings - pillowcovers, linens/sheets, bath towels - These items are available at the cottage for an extra fee at the time of booking. (Covid-19 UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to the changes in cleaning protocols, we are asking our guests to bring their own beddings, sheets/pillows & bath towels at this time). *** Insect repellents/ after bite lotions / Masks / sanitizers / indoor slippers / water shoes / bike helmets *** Check-in: 3:00pm/Check-out: 11:00 am *** Surveillance cameras outside the building for the safety of the property and to monitor unauthorized check-ins. No cameras inside the building. *** Each unregistered guest (whether adult/children/infant) not disclosed before check-in will pay $200 per night and/or the reservation is cancelled with immediate effect without refund. *** Garbage: Take it with you when you check out or use the local dumpsite (location will be provided). Any garbage left in the property will cause a deduction of $50 per bag from your security deposit. *** Noise bylaw: The noise can be louder than expected on open grounds and near the lake especially at night and when everything is quiet around. No loud music, please. Monitor your noise levels after 10 pm and as a courtesy to our neighbours with families. *** When the entire cottage is not occupied, we rent the levels separately.
