Portland Vintage Hideaway is a lovely, private, completely self-contained unit in our light-filled 1950's day-ranch basement. Enjoy 600+ sq.ft., queen bed with memory foam topper, double sofa bed, TV with streaming, workspace area, wi-fi, and adorable fully appointed kitchenette! The private, gated garden and patio offer a serene and lovely setting in which to hang out for meals & enjoy a glass of wine. We accept a maximum of two dogs and there is a pet fee. Guests must be verified through Airbnb in order to stay at Portland Vintage Hideaway. *Please note - Noise Will Transfer! We live Above the apartment and share walls. There are 3 of us and our sweet 3 yr old dog, Hazel We do our very best to be as quiet as possible, but please occasionally expect to hear life as it happens....footsteps, laughter, animated conversations, doors closing, the TV and washing machine Feel free to drop off your things before check-in. Depending on the previous guest's check out we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Portland Vintage Hideaway comfortably accommodates 3 adults. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. The Pet Fee is $15.00 per dog, per day not to exceed $60.00 a week & must be paid prior to check in or upon arrival. We accept cash or at your request we will send you a link through the “Resolution Center” in which you can click on and submit payment. (No Charge For Certified Service Dogs.) We ask that your dog be completely potty trained, up to date on their flea and tick treatments, and please, brush, shed, comb out your dogs!! Please clean up after your dogs & dispose of waste in the outdoor garbage can found in your enclosed yard. Please wipe paws before coming into the house on rainy Portland days using only designated dog towels which you will find near the door, or the in the white cabinet in the closet Please never leave your dog(s) unattended inside the unit or outside in the fenced yard. Cats are accepted on a case by case basis. If it is agreed that you may bring your cat, there is a $20 per day fee for the duration of your stay. UPON ARRIVAL: If facing the house from the street (Idaho Dr.) Please use the stone pathway on the right side (south side), walk up to fence & through the gate with VW Bus painted on it and you’ll see the entrance to the Airbnb immediately to your left under the white awning. WATCH YOUR STEP when approaching the entry door. There is a small step down that is clearly marked but please use caution. There is plenty of free parking on the street in front of our home. Please do NOT park in the driveway. All types of SMOKING OUTSIDE ONLY please! Please do not burn incense, or sage inside the unit. During warmer weather, we will be watering the garden in your area in the morning or evening before 9:00pm In rare circumstances, we may need to access the electrical panel, water heater, furnace, or water main in the apartment. Guest access You have access to the entire apartment, enclosed yard and patio. Other things to note The apartment can accommodate four guests. The daily rate covers two guests. There is an extra guest charge of $20 per person per night. We allow a maximum of two dogs. Upon booking in your initial message to us we ask that you disclose that you will be bringing you dog(s) with you and also please include a brief description of each dog’s breed, age, and demeanor. We do not allow dogs that are aggressive in any manner or capacity towards people, animals, or creature. During warmer weather, we will need to enter your gated area to water the flowers. We typically water in the early mornings or evenings before 9:00. . In the rare case of a power outage, the breaker box located in the Airbnb may need to be accessed.
