Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, except for the first floor kitchen (but don't worry there is a full-sized and newly remodeled kitchen on the second floor!). Other things to note Home Truths: - Many stairs leading to the home and inside, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues - Steep driveway, requiring chains and 4WD vehicles in winter - No central AC, but ceiling and tower fans in most rooms; portable AC units in the living room and main bedroom - No central heating, but wall heaters, space heaters, and electric furnaces are provided; wood-burning fireplace available only in power outages - Outdoor furniture may not be available in the winter months (October - May). -There is not a water source to the fridge, so the auto ice maker and water dispenser do not work . Tahoe tap water is some of the best water around, and is perfectly good to drink. - Please refer to the Rental Agreement for a full list of the local STR Rules. - Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival. Please be aware that our pet fee is specifically for cleaning purposes. STR Permit #: STR22-5910 | Max Daytime Occupancy is 15 (excluding guests 12 and younger); Max Overnight Occupancy is 10 (excluding guests 12 and younger) | Parking: 3 driveway spots - NO STREET PARKING | Quiet Hours are from 9pm - 8am | Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies and STR Rules Listed in House Rules/Rental Agreement | Anytime a pet/service animal/emotional support animal is outside of the home and is not in a fully fenced backyard, the pet/service animal/emotional service animal must be kept on a leash and accompanied by the owner. There are ceiling and tower fans in most of the rooms for nice air flow (our home, like many in Lake Tahoe, does not have air conditioning). Please note there is no central heating, but there are wall heaters and space heaters in every room as well as little electric furnaces for your use during your stay. A wood burning fireplace is available only in case of a power outage. We ask that you use the wall heaters and radiators provided in each room as your first source of heat. There is a short, but steep driveway (in the winter we recommend chains/4wd). The driveway is also shared with the home next door. Home is located on North Lake Blvd which can be noisy during peak months. While newly remodeled, the home is still older. Please be aware the water can take some time to warm up. It is advised to avoid using the all three showers simultaneously particularly in winter time. 2 dogs under 45 lbs. are permitted during your stay. A pet fee will be collected upon booking. Depending on the time of year, we may be open to hosting long-term guests. Please note that you will have to sign an official rental agreement along with the booking if you stay more than 30 nights. You will also be required to pay for a cleaning every 30 days along with the cleaning that is already scheduled after your stay. Registration Details STR Permit #: 12370
